Is Jan Brewer as bad as George Wallace because she is against the "dream act"?

Brewer is right. Either we are a nation of laws or we are not. It really is as simple as that.

Comparing Jan Brewer to George Wallace is over the top and Jan Brewer's motivations are different.

Note: I didn't know this before, but in Texas certain non-U.S. citizens (permanent residents) pay in-state tuition.

She is one of the most responsbile border governers out there ... she really cares about the law, the citizens, education, and businesses of her state.

She has the law on her side. Barack Hussein Obama is acting extra-legally and even ultra vires.

The dream acts settles nada.

George Wallace and his gang of DEMOCRAT racist thugs were the very definition of RACISTS...who's jackboot followers enforced the racist DEMOCRATIC Jim Crow laws with physical intimidation and pure force.

Jan Brewer on the other hand, is only trying to enforce the sovereignty of our nation and its borders from a deluge of ILLEGAL immigrants and their ILLEGAL imposition on our society.

Attempting to compare a person who enforced racist laws on LEGAL citizens of this country based merely on the color of their skin...

with someone who is enforcing laws that any and every sovereign country MUST enforce to protect it's very existence from being over run by ILLEGAL interlopers is nothing more than shameful, ignorant and irresponsible race baiting at the very least.

why do illegals deserve to pay reduced tuition when children of citizens pay full price?

and God forbid your child have the AUDACITY to want to go to a college 'out of state'...
as a citizen your child pays up to 3 times more for tuition if they want to attend a school in another STATE...yet if you are an ILLEGAL alien...you pay less than any citizen at any school...not to mention healthcare and everything else.

And grants and scholarships citizens children can't even hope to get.

Priorities in America are backward.

First off. The dream act is a tool for Obama. He knows most of the opposition for this comes from the right. He just uses it to paint the untrue unfair picture of the right being racist.

There's no great need for this. Same goes for the birth control issue. Just tools for the tool.

Where are the other governors? Why aren't they following in her footsteps?

NO because Wallace was rasist to black kids.....Brewer is just trying to protect US citizens from the cost(money the gov does NOT have) of loads of ILLEGALS adding to our already OVERLOADED DMV and colleges.
It's not about race with her but legal...and ILLEGAL.

I am all for immigration...they are the only reason we as a nation are at replacement level...but ILLEGALS? Should be sent BACK to their countries. Their county should be fined for everyone that is sent back:) Have that country PAY to send them home then BAM I would bet the ILLEGALS coming over would be GREATLY reduced.
