I think that is a pipe-dream... The classical liberal Jeffersonian style Democrats were already being overrun by increasingly over-sheltered, touchy, feely, collectivist mental midgets a century ago and most of the self enslaving, thug loving, pretzel logic dolts couldn't understand freedom from a fundamental individual rights perspective if they lived to be a thousand and were the only human being left on earth.
