We don't give each other much of a break do we? Especially on here.

A "much better president" for who? Certainly not anyone who isn't in the top 1% or a "corporate people".

For those of us who know a country cannot afford to drive out all of its money makers who are also the job makers. You can hate the "1%" and drive them away, or you can embrace the philosophy which made them rich and have jobs. You cannot have both - and YOUR president is so dense he cannot see that. Exactly WHERE do you believe jobs come from?

The trouble is, the "money makers" haven't been the "job makers" and therin lies the crux. The money makers in Romney's crowd only had one goal, to make money for themselves regardless of what they did to jobs. I see absolutely no hope that Romney will do any differently as its in his very core....whatever the hell that is.

I hope I am wrong, but I don't see Romney as the answer either. As long as we allow TWO political parties to select our Presidents for us, we will remain in trouble. It is time to dissolve these two Parties, perhaps ALL political parties. They have FAR too much control over our lives and always will as long as we tolerate it.

I honestly don't believe that there will be any changes until we have serious campaign finance reform Tasine. Right now special interest groups and lobbyists own our politicos on both sides of the aisle lock-stock-and barrel. Now with the unfettered monies going into Super Paks, it is far worse than we thought possible. Our representatives are beholden to these groups before they ever open an office and it doesn't matter if they've been in Washington eons or just brand new. Suffice to say, had financing a campaign always been like this, we would have never had an Abraham Lincoln or a Harry Truman because they would have never been able to get out of the gate.

    Sad doesn't even cover it.

And I don't think that will happen until we crash and burn. After that, if we just put some thought into it and refuse to return with the same old, same old, we MAY be able to get things back on track. I stress MAY.

That's been the problem here. You want this president to fail so badly because your own way isn't gotten that you will wish failure on all of us. Errrr, are you one of those who professes to be a "patriot"?

I want the government to fail. The president just happens to be a part of it. It's too big, and people like you enjoy labeling yourself a democrat or a republican, ignoring the fact that the government has put legislation into play that attacks your bill of rights.

When the nation tanks, I hope you are nearby. You KNOW what is going on, and it seems no one on the left has a clue as to what is coming down - that's half the country that will be taken by surprise because they so despise the rest of us. Where I live groups are making plans for the coming apocalypse our government is going to rain down on us.

And voting democrat-lite ISN'T throwing away your vote? You get who you elect, but then what have you got? As long as we dutifully vote for the candidate of the 2 political Parties, trust me, we will never slow down big government or the waste of our money. I may vote Romney, but very well may not.

Vote Romney only because Obama has proven himself to be a threat. Spending 6 trillion dollars in 4 years, signing the new NDAA that allows indefinite detention of US citizens, all things that Obama will build upon.

Oh, I understand that. I've been leery of him ever since I heard that the idiots in America actually elected him - when I thought I KNEW Americans were smarter than that. Was I ever wrong! This time I won't be taken by surprise, assuming we get to vote. Now I recognize how totally dumbed down America really is.

The less people know, the better it is for the government. Our Founding Fathers warned us of that. It's too bad we didn't heed that warning.
