Is it sad there are so many people who hate Obama enough to vote for Willard Romney? Yes or no?

So why would someone fed up with Obama return to voting for the same party they were fed up with four years ago? The electorate is filled with idiots!
Yep. Bush Jr. was primarily responsible for the timing of the economic collapse, but our previous presidents (everyone on Capitol Hill, actually) has had a firm hand in leading us down this path.
>>>Rominee campaigning with Meg Whitman as she cuts 27,000 jobs...This is what the GOP stands for...sacrificing peoples lives and well being for a profit...<<<
I believe our country is headed for an economic meltdown, and I would rather see someone step in to fix the problem in a controlled manner, no matter the pain involved, than have to go through an uncontrolled collapse.
But it ain't gonna happen - look at Greece. As soon as politicians began implementing their austerity programs, the electorate voted them out of power in favor of the do-nothing politicians. The same goes for our government. But if we were to end up with a 30+% unemployment rate because of the implementation of a true austerity program, I'd cry and moan and beg on the streets - but I'd still vote for those same politicians in the next election. But I'm guessing that the savings from cutting those 27,000 jobs went to line someone's pockets, not to help repair an economic crisis.
::shrug::
But what about the RNC this year? Just look at the pathetic offerings they have for us. It's questionable, even with Obama's dismal economic recovery, his disregard for the Constitution, his seeming desire to move us ever closer to a socialistic society, that Romney will be able to beat him.
We all KIND OF know that Republicans are very often tied to the Christian Religious Right. We know generally that Republicans tend to prefer tax breaks for the wealthy in exchange for the wealthy creating jobs.
On the other hand, Democrats are far more likely to have government take the citizens by the hand and lead them through this minefield we call life. They also tend to have great heart for the down and out, and they like to see monies from the wealthy go to help keep these people out of poverty. And Dems are far more likely to be concerned for environmental issues even if such concern makes life uncomfortable for them and everyone else around them.
So long as political parties have a "tendency" to do things, there's not much use in having a party. But if, in order to be a Republican candidate, you had to be anti-abortion, right-to-work, anti-gay marriage, and anti-immigration, then I can see how having a party could cut through a lot of "junk" at the get-go and focus questions and debates upon those things that the party doesn't include in its party line.
As far as Libertarian, I tend to lean that direction, but I want more government involvement than hardline Libertarians see as proper (some of them seem more along the lines of anarchists).
In my world if one person wanted to ban abortions, he could either gather about him numbers of people to side with him and protect him against those who think that is murder, but there would be no LAW against either that person or those who support him OR those who harass him. No real detail here, but we MUST quit killing freedoms with laws - we already have 3000 pounds if laws in the National Archives. And that's merely FEDERAL laws, which should not be directed at individuals at all.
I hope those middle class workers that are voting for him realize that once the minimum wage is scrapped, they'll lose their jobs to cheap labor which they will then have to settle for themselves!
