Is it odd that I respect most religious people more than fellow atheists?

I find that most religious people have good manners and stop bothering you if you ask them to, where as I have seen many atheists be rude and judgmental to Christians.

Wait - you respect people MORE who have completely opposite personal beliefs rather than people who share your own? That's not odd - that's insane. THEY BOTH ARE JUDGMENTAL - picking sides means you have "judged" one as superior to the other. People with superior attitudes are naturally confrontational and judgmental. Who you trying to fool?

Look at this my way, people all over the universe judge and are judged. I just ment that a lot of Christians are nice, good people in general. While atheists tend to be rude and inconsiderate of others beliefs. I did not say all of them, but many.

Do you prefer people telling you that you're going to hell? I can deal with the angry atheists- they just need to take it down a notch. Now bible beaters I can't stand, there's a difference between having a religion and forcing it upon other people.

I didn't want to choose this answer... because I don't think that women should be called that word.

There are more christians than there are atheists- and most atheists keep their beliefs to themselves. Very few people know that I'm an agnostic atheist in real life.

Eh. I think religious people can be stupid, mean idiots and Atheists can be stupid, mean idiots. But religious people can also be really, nice respectable people and atheists can be really, nice repectable people.

As do I. I like watching kids light up on Christmas morning. Decorated neighborhoods look nice, and people tend to be more generous.
