Is it CONSTITUTIONAL for the government to spy on us with these survailance drones? And would it be legal for us to shoot it down, if we can?

It's a fact that this government is spying on us with these survailance drones. The problem is that we don't know where they are. Just suppose we are able to see them, will it be okay to shoot them down, because they have no business spying on us?

You be the first to "shoot down" one of them. Then, be sure to post a story here on SH to tell us how that turned out for you. We will all be waiting anxiously.

I doubt we would know. The Army has developed drones that resembles a hummingbird. If you saw it around one of your flower beds, you wouldn't blink.

Actually, if the government wanted to find you, they wouldn't need drones. Big Brother knows where you are.

True, they know where you are, but the drones are just another tool in them knowing. The drones can also record conversations outside, although they can use your cellphone for that.

What might put off people of the idea of shooting them down is they will come to you to pay for that. They are not cheap.

The Constitution is quite useless as regards this question. If Amerika should somehow survive long enough, issues such as this will eventually be addressed by our Rulers, who will screw it up once again.

The good answer is "Shoot first and ask questions later".

The use domestic drones should restricted by the government (federal, state, or local) to the following. Border control, looking for missing people (like children or others reported missing 24 hours ago not two years ago), by fire departments while fighting fires,  finding people like after a tornado, hurricane, earth quack , excreta, excreta, excreta. If any form of Law Enforcement federal, state, or local and yes that also means you DHS want to place any one under any kind of surveillance you must have a warrant!!! No warrant No charges!!!

What you are saying is that it's okay for the government to peak, but they can't do anything on what they see? Suppose the government sends someone to peak into your windows, is that okay? It's the same thing, when they put out these survialance drones to see what we are up to.

I think that you might want to reread what I wrote. Maybe just a bit slower this time because that is not what I said or implied.

They don't need warrants anymore. Patriot Act. NDAA.

    They do if they come to my house. (State v. Mobley, 240 N.C. 476, 83 S.E. 2d 100).

My opinion, for what it's worth, we should be able to shoot it down or bring them down any way we can. This government or any other government doesn't have the right to spy on it's citizens, just because they can.
