We're not even sure why they asked this question, but the folks at Public Policy Polling asked hardcore Republican voters in Mississippi about interracial marriage.
In the conservative southern state, 46 percent of the respondents believe interracial marriage should be illegal, while 40 percent think it should be legal, according to the poll. Gov. Haley Barbour, who is running for president, gets most of the support from those of whom don't particularly like interracial marriage. The poll questioned 400 likely Republican voters.
Barbour has garnered negative attention because of statements he made about civil rights and a white supremacist group, the White Citizens Council. He later condemned the segregationist group.
A Gallup poll conducted in 2007 showed that more than three in four Americans say they approve of marriages between blacks and whites. As recently as 1994, less than half of Americans approved. The vast majority of whites and an even larger majority of blacks approve of interracial marriages. Older Americans, according to the poll, were less inclined to support interracial marriages than were younger Americans.
One caveat in the recent Mississippi is that 66 percent of the respondents were 46 or older. We wonder what the younger generation in Mississippi thinks.

Orangedragan 2011/04/08 16:22:11No+47If you don't like it, don't get one. Same with homosexual marriages. It doesn't affect you! Get over it!

How could it possibly be wrong?!
Love is love!! Skin color has nothing to do with it <3
This has nothing to do with lions and tigers, though. They're two completely different species -- different races aren't.
Genocide is the elimination of a race. You can use interbreeding to achieve that end or you can use gas chambers. It is irrelevant. The end result is the same.
Okay, I just didn't see that angle before. Everything changed when I realized that interbreeding is the equivalent to genocide of the white race by way of gas chambers.
Thanks Donny!
Now I know that I should fill my heart full of hatred for any non-white that pollutes our perfect race with their inferior genes.
Hugs ^_^
And so now you've put the relationship i have with the woman I adore...on the level of gassing a child, I'm sort of worried about you
White = Human
Black = Human
hmmmmm...... I think a human is the same as a human....
