Did God move Hurricane Isaac to the West to spare the Republican convention? When a hurricane is bearing down on the Republican convention, it makes you stop to think for a moment that God may be a Democrat. But when it veers back to the West, maybe he's a Republican. What are your thoughts on God's political affiliation?

If there were a god, he wouldn't bother moving a hurricane for the sake of a conventions of humans trying to get humans to let them control other humans and start wars with different humans instead of letting current humans who currently control the humans and start wars with different humans continue to control current humans and start wars with other humans.

No.....GOD is love. We have too much hate between the Dems and Republicans. So any of them really say GOD is on there side...............NO. I don't think it was divine intervention with the hurricane. Just a change of the wind........

Wait, I didnt vote, why does it say yes for my vote? SH is screwed up. Politics are a bunch of people wasting time and money by arguing about meaningless things. Well there is a whole lot of that in religion also. But neither of these have much to do with God, I'm afraid.

What makes you think God gives a flip about our politics? "The best we offer up is like filthy rags". I'm sure God is laughing at our politics. If you're talking policies, He did say that if a man will not work, then let him not eat, but we are supposed to help the needy. As Christians, we are required to help other Christians in need with thithes paid to the church with definitions pertaining to true widows and such. We are also required to help the needy who are lost in order to lead them to Christ.

I don't believe that God gives a rip about which party is involved, only by what is in the persons heart. That said, I can't help but think that God frowns upon anyone who supports any party who promotes the murder of unborn children. Do I think that democrats are evil? not neccessarily. Do I believe that the democrat party in general is evil? very likely, but Republicans haven't done near enough to over turn abortion either.
