Obama's lack of popularity surpassed that of President Bush's long ago.

The only difference is that Obama has done many things to actually warrant the dislike of the American people.

Bush was not perfect, but his love and respect for our country, and it's people, runs deep and true.

The same cannot be said for our current president.

President George W. Bush brought an experienced management team to support his Presidency versus a pathological liar who depends upon playing victim, that gathers a cluster of philosophical czars, whom are all "bent" upon destroying the financial and legal structure of this nation to achieve their concept of socialism by circumventing Congress.

I'll take George any day of the week. He was already a manager and successful, self-made, millionare entrepreneur who faced and made difficult decisions during an ongoing period of religious terrorism.

He may have had to duck shoes thrown at him and certainly wasn't bowing to foreign powers, who respected him for defending this nation and definitely didn't feel he had to hide his origin of birth or ancestry from this nation's citizens.

It is hard to beat GW just on stupidity alone. He thought that starting two unprovoked wars would give him political capital to pass his Republicon agenda. What he didn't know was that his silly little war was going to last more than 10 years and kill thousands of US service men and women, cost the economy trillions, and destroy the reputation of the US all over the world. He couldn't speak very well. He didn't even want to know what was going on during the hurricane and didn't want to come back from vacation even after hundreds of people were killed or left homeless. He took a budget surplus that Clinton left that was supposed to pay of the National debt in 10 years and instead, cut taxes and started two wars that he didn't pay for and ran us another 5 trillion dollars in debt. He destroyed the economy to the point that the US was bleeding jobs. The worst for sure... the least popular... He would have to be.

Depends upon your criteria. Bush left office with the lowest approval rating in history. So in that sense, yes. He was the most unpopular.

You know what, you're right. I misread the data.

In fact, Nixon was one percentage point worse (24% to W's 25%). Still, that's pretty low for someone who didn't resign.

NoObama why? An impressive list of accomplishments:

First President to apply for college aid as a foreign student, then deny he
    was a foreigner.

First President to have a social security number from a state he has never lived in.

First President to preside over a cut to the credit-rating of the United States.

First President to violate the War Powers Act.

First President to be held in contempt of court for illegally obstructing oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.

First President to defy a Federal Judge's court order to cease implementing
    the Health Care Reform Law.

First President to require all Americans to purchase a product from a third
    party.

First President to spend a trillion dollars on 'shovel-ready' jobs when there was no such thing as 'shovel-ready' jobs.

First President to abrogate bankruptcy law to turn over control of companies to his union supporters.

First President to by-pass Congress and implement the Dream Act through executive fiat.

First President to order a secret amnesty program that stopped the deportation of illegal immigrants across the U.S., including those with criminal convictions.

First President to demand a company hand-over $20 billion to one of his political appointees.

First President to terminate America's ability to put a man in...

On the Republicans watch, but I stop here. If there were only two people on earth to save the world between President Bush and Mitt Romney, President Bush will get my vote a million times than I will give Mitt Romney. Mitt Romney is too greedy and I dislike greedy people I don't want to say any more negative things about President Bush. He is a much more better person than Mitt Romney!
