Bill Clinton must have been here and dropped one of his Is's ("That depends on what "is" is.") Does anyone READ their questions before posting them ??

No it's NOT treason---- but it certainly is not a true marriage either.

Judging by the failure rate of heterosexual marriage, WHY do gays wants to marry, anyway ? Civil unions should allow for the same rights are marriage without being actual marriage.

Hmmm. No, but for your own protection (against disease) I would advise you to do the same as the guy in the poll-photo is doing; put the rainbow tape across YOUR mouth and your butt-hole too. Be safe,

Ah ha!!! Just noticed you're from the U.K. They're much like San Franciscans over here. Look, I really enjoy "Fawlty Towers" and "Black Adder" (if you're even old enough to remember them) and I'm sorry about hurting your feelings about the Revolution (it just had to be done) so I won't let your attitude spoil my "love" for the British.

Hey, gangbang all you want. Maybe you could call up some frenchmen to join in, They seemed to like that stuff since they stuck their asses in the air when the Germans marched in.

No next time for me or a first time. But, do call the french just electing François Hollande, they are getting a global gangbang pretty soon.

It benefits us though, he's planning on implementing a 75% tax on earners above €100,000 pa, so they'll all come over to London :D. It'll also bring about the downfall of the EU, finally.

Our arse kissing governments signed it over back in the '80's. What, did you think I was some sort of Liberal?
  • Bill Anonymo... 2012/05/07 19:23:46
    Bill
Yeah, "some sort". Where's Thatcher and Reagan when we need them.
I once heard Tony Blair and Nicolas Sarkozy give speeches about America and I was moved as I have seldom been moved before, except by Reagan. To tell you the truth, they were more elegant and beautiful then Reagan's speeches. I wish I could fine them but I have to say that they hit the mark perfectly in their appreciation for America's help, strength and moral certainty against evil in this world.

God no, I'm a free marketeer. Sadly, poor Maggie's senile and Reagan's six feet under... Blair and Sarkozy are both thieving idiots that destroyed their respective countries and stole millions from them, at least the French will get a taste of their own medicine now, Hollande looks like he's going to be the Gordon Brown of French Politics, with his Keynesian Economics...

Obama isn't that bad, I do support public healthcare, but at Market prices and run like a business, with the only restriction being that they have to try and keep it as basic and cheap as possible.
  • Bill Anonymo... 2012/05/08 15:16:02
    Bill
Obama can't do that now and it hasn't even kicked in yet. He keeps implying that this is virtually free or free, for that matter. People go to their doctors and are surprised that they are billed at check-out. They say, "It's supposed to be free." They get back, "No, not until 2014 and even then it won't be free. You still have to pay the premium." Those people are then very upset.

Making private health care free is very dangerous, I propose having a transferrable healthcare allowance where the government will pay for a certain amount of healthcare every 5 years, from wherever, sort of like school vouchers for healthcare.

Hmmm. Sounds like a qualification for a "death panel".

The National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (Nice) decides whether new drugs represent value for money for the NHS in England and Wales. It replied: "This is a gross misrepresentation of how Nice applies health economics to try and address the central issue: how to allocate healthcare rationally within the context of limited healthcare resources. ***** Nice assesses the cost of a treatment in terms of a cost-utility analysis which takes account of the quality adjusted life year – the amount and quality of extended life it is hoped the patient will gain. ***** The current ceiling is £30,000 but exceptions are made."

I noted, with interest, the following in my excerpt...
***** Nice assesses the cost of a treatment in terms of a cost-utility analysis which takes account of the quality adjusted life year – the amount and quality of extended life it is hoped the patient will gain. *****

cost-utility analysis??? quality adjusted life year???
quality of extended life it is hoped the patient will gain???

The little "Nice"ities don't sound so Nice. It's as Obama said, "Take a pain pill."

This and long waiting times are the NHS's biggest problems, and also how it keeps it so inexpensive - private hospitals will pressure you to take the latest drug that costs £100,000 and will prolong your life for another month - this is pointless and will drag dying people's lives out and bankrupt their family. However, public hospitals should be just like private hospitals only cheaper, that's where my allowance comes in - it would cover most things that happen in the period, but if you need expensive treatment, it will go over, making them think about it. It would also allow them to get medical treatment whatever, but if they don't take care of their body, they'll end up having to pay for it - a healthy person who doesn't do dangerous things gets a rebate, an unhealthy daredevil has to pay.

And I don't think any Republicans regard Gay Marriage as treason, some Republicans regard it as immoral, most Republicans think the government should be in the marriage business.
