Is gay marriage going to cause a huge amount of litigation in America?

Christian 2012/08/11 06:39:01
Gays will get married and they will also get divorced, do we really need more divorces in America?

Do divorces really matter..? It's not like it's any of your business what happens in their life..

Far more important is the basic civil rights of ALL citizens.

Here's the first one. Technically it's not divorce though, cos it's a Civil Union, not a "marriage" in legal terms.

I don't really think that should be an issue, it's about civil rights for U.S. Citizens. Anyway, we don't have any statistical information to base an informed opinion on. So why beat rabbits out of bushes on that one?

They deserve to have the choice be as equally unhappy lol this is really a sad argument for outlawing it with that logic might as well ban all marriages.

    we the people

The way I see it, by denying homosexual couples their rights, we are effectively calling them second class citizens - unworthy of inclusion into "our" society. I don't get it. I mean, how does allowing legal marriage to "them" affect "our" "traditional" marriage anyway? No argument makes sense to me.

I've heard a few arguments against marriage equality before, but I've never heard the "increased red tape" argument. Weak
