that Getting Bin Laden was a waste of resources.

    As Romney said:
" Even Carter would have given that order."
Even if you belive Obama's little fairy tail, Laden's death will change little on the terrorist front. If you have ever watched a war movie or show about terrrorist or resistances you know that they operate in cells and killing thier leaders is like cutting off the heads of the hydra. Each one you kill 2 more pop up. If you want to stop terrorism kill the funding and delivery of arms.

Why should we. We should back out of iraq and afganistan. We should worry only about us only. The liar should step down. Obama said" If our troops are not out of iraq in 16the months I will not run for office." So obummer lie much.

Obama did no great thing in killing Obama! It was not some great leadership happening. It was a silver platter and he simply said yes! Real hard decision! Romney would have done the same as would most Americans!

Mines controverial. I think Bush didn't want to upset his family ties with the Bin Laden family. Their familys were close due to their common interests in oil. To have killed one of the Bin Laden family members, even though considered a outcast by that family, may have jeopardized their familys relationships and their oil business concerns. Middle East thinking and traditions are different than ours and may have come into play when Bush considered the imprisioning or killing of a family member of a friends family. It would have been in the best interests of the Bush family to ignor getting Bin Laden and to switch public opinion into going after Saddam Hussein as a bigger threat.. It's easier for Romney to agree with Bush than open up such a touchy subject, why not the getting of Bin Laden?

It's just a theory with no prove, but it gives reason to why Bush and Romney would consider getting Bin Laden a waste of resources, even when considering he was the mastermind of 9/11, and the driving force behind our want for justice. But still, have williness to sacrifice that many more American lifes, as well as, the justification in spending 100's of billions inorder to invade Iraq, which had nothing to do with 9/11. Remember Obama did in 2 years, what Bush couldn't do in 8 years, get Bin Laden, wasn't that the idea in the first place?

Thanks, again only a theory. I won't be surprized to get a lot more attention as more readers read my comment. But, I couldn't help myself it's been in the back of my mind ever since Bush made his feelings known on a TV interview during his term and then theres the family pictures with the Ben Laden family.

Did you watch the 911 DVD, btw?
A lot about the Carlyle Group (Saudis) is told about in that.
It also tells us the Saudi family was skirted out secretly after 911 happened.
The attack was timed by Bin Laden to not only be on 911, but at the height of an oil business meeting in the same city, by the Bin Laden family. The innuendos are way too deep for this forum.

My opinion is even more controversial. Dan Rather reported that Osama Bin Laden was being treated for kidney failure during the 9/11 attacks and we knew where he was. But he 'got away' before we could get to him.
Average life expectancy for a dialysis patient is 5 years with medical care. Bin Laden died of natural causes and that not only was bad for the American Image but they also needed him alive as 'the face of terrorism' to justify thier plans. They kept the Idea of him being alive as a focal point for the average American to better understand the war on terrorism. Then when it became more valuable to them for him to die they dumped a body in the ocean and called it done. The raid was not to kill Bin Laden but to steal his body from it's shrine.

I didn't say that I knew MORE than Mitt Romney. However, I do listen to his speeches and read. I also compare what he says to the other candidates. Who knows what Romney's policy on anything is? He will not answer reporters' questions and holds closed charity events. He's out of touch with reality. I believe what Biden said about Romney: "Romney has a 'profound misunderstanding' of how American foreign policy works and has embraced 'dangerous and discredited policies' that could put the country
    in 'danger'."

Because the general public reads, thinks, and looks at the big picture, instead of being isolated inside a bubble, like Romney has been most of his life. How he came this far is beyond me. He also appears to be a puppet for the far right. He doesn't think on his own.

    How true.
I noticed Romney is just like the Etch A Sketch they mentioned earlier. He waits around to see what he is supposed to do next before he responds. He does not want to disappoint his handlers.

A truly intelligent and un 'handled' person would be able to rebuttle in real time. To be the take charge CEO we were hold he was...where are his advanced decision making skills...and why doesn't a rich world traveller know more about Russia?

Joe Biden advised the president against going after Bin Laden. The pentagon and the CIA had been badgering Obama for months for permission to go in and take out King Terrorist. But Obama wanted a guarantee from them that it would be successful. In a mission of that magnitude they couldn't predict 100% success. So Obama sat on it and sat on it. Finally, the military and the CIA, with the support of State, gave him an ultimatum - sign off on it now or cancel it completely. Backed into a corner Obama signed off on it. If you don;t believe this scenario read Bob Gates book when it is published, probably after Obama leaves office.

But the results were still positive...no matter how many times historians write about it.
The sign of a good leader is one with enough intelligence to not jump on intell just because the Pentagon says so. Look how we got into the Iraq War over WMD's.

There may be other factors in play we are not aware of.

I don't think that Romney would have ignored a Political bonanza like killing or capturing Bin Laden. However, He would have probably used Cruise Missiles or other form of high explosive. This would have resulted in a much worse position for the United States in that no one would actually believe that Bin Laden was dead and We would have had no way of proving it except for pictures of a building being blown up. I don't think We can go back to the Republican Foreign Policy positions which made up the laughing stock of the world or much worse the most hated country in the world. No Country is an Island, We really need our friends in this world.

Obama's foreign policy is proof he is a Muslim and a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Mid-East is a disaster. The Chinese are walking all over us. He tells Putin he will be more "flexable" with our nuclear missile defense system. He bans drilling for oil here and then sends $2.5 billion of our tax money to Brazil along with oil Platforms from our Gulf and sets them up get their oil and sell it to us. (oh, of course the Oil industry isn't in on it with him). He treats our real allies like dirt. He apologies for the greatness of America because he is a Kenyan socialist who wants revenge for the colonialist years. he hates America. He wants a one World Communist govt. That's his foreign policy.
I'm positive Romney would have captured Bin Laden. Killing him was a stupid mistake.
He shpuld have been put on trial. But Obama and his Muslim brothers wanted a him dead. No connections. Just nice and clean. Buzzy
