I believe that President Obama is doing the best job possible considering the mess he was left with and the cronies that still remain that he has to work with daily.

    because Rush Beck is.

This administration is simply doing the best it can working from the reality of where we are (or were, when they assumed office)

Considering the state of this country on Jan. 20, 2010 I think they have done a pretty good job. In spite of the fact that the MOST powerful and monied institutions in this country have done everything in their power to thwart their efforts, this administration has managed to avoid a depression, secure equal pay for women, give student loan debt relief, end despicable practices by insurance companies while extending coverage to hundreds of thousands of people who otherwise would go uncovered, and is on the verge of reforming the financial industry that were the true culprets in this horrible financial meltdown.

All that, in spite of total obstructionist obstinance from the Republicans..... pretty damn good!

    ref: http://www.hhs.gov/news/press...

So, with the passage of an illegal law, Joannne Grossi, newly appointed to Region III, (with no public scrutiny allowed in the appointment!) is now ahead on the Health Care chain of command over my duly elected state's Insurance Commissioner, Karen Weldin!

And you don't see anything remotely wrong with that? Are you going to be equally enthusiastic when the Republicans take over Congress and the WH and appoint who THEY want with no public input? I can't wait to hear your opinion on this one!

Government takeover of banks, car companies, and an endless supply of Czars unaccountable to the Senate, per the Constitution.

Payments are set to drop 21.3% on June 1. But freezing rates and preventing the 21.3% sustainable growth rate (SGR) cut from June through December will cost $6.5 billion.

Here's what else the CBO says:

•Maintaining 2010 payment rates in fiscal year (October-September) 2011 would cost $9.2 billion extra. A 2% increase in fiscal year 2011 would cost $9.8 billion. Payments would drop 30% in 2012 if no fix was enacted that year.
•Extending the current pay rate through 2020 would cost an extra $275 billion.
•Using a Medicare Economic Index of 0.7% to 1.8%, annual increases to physician payments in fiscal years 2011-2020 would cost $329.9 billion."

Pelosi's sentiment is that she is trying to save the planet. She has openly declared that she has "no plans" to schedule a vote on it because she opposes drilling in "protected areas." Feeling good about saving the planet is one issue, but blocking free speech in a dictatorship move is strictly anti-American as well as counter-productive. Democrats don't need the bad press in a move that could portend to be an election-breaker of sorts. Obviously, Pelosi cares nothing about winning hearts and minds. Forcing her hand to block a vote and to bring discussion to a halt shows the heart of evil control that has sprouted in Congress."
