Is Barack Obama simply a symptom of a much broader problem in America? If so, what is the broader problem?

The influx of Liberals from Mexico and rampant minority birth rates. Pretty soon there won't be anybody left to pay the bills.

0bama is only a symptom of an electorate that would prefer to vote for a living rather than work for it.

Hillary Clinton would have been President, if it weren't for Obama's race. The guy's an empty suit, but smart enough to be dangerous.

A drop in the bucket compared to what Bush spent, and a drop in the bucket compared to what will happen under another Republican leadership, and especially Mitt Romney and his advisors Rush Limbaugh and Donald Trump. It's all about mindset, and the Republican party will take us back to the civil unrest days, if this happens brace yourself.

Hi Frog! I feel that "what's wrong with America" is overblown and a misnomer. 20 years ago China wasn't the juggernaut it is today, and neither was India or Russia. These 3 countries have emerged and their success and drive has diluted the amount of easy wealth to go around. The US and Europe are no longer the only major players. We have to compete more for our lifestyles. Then we have the problem of piracy which weakens us: 75% of software/electronics in China is pirated yet copied from our own. It's less about how badly we do, than about how much better they're doing. We have a lot more competition than we used to, and i feel that's the biggest reason for any "decline" here.

The problem is the pussification, and pacification, of the entire world, not just America. The goal is to make everyone a mindless drone, eager to fork over ever increasing amounts of the fruits of their labor, all for a false sense of security and liberty.

The problem is the lack of informed voters... people who simply cannot research the record of the politicians running for office.

An underlying problem is the corruption running rampant through politics... in both major parties. In order to get even to the State levels of politics, you've GOT to sell out your principles... if you ever had any to begin with.

When they vote, they'll go with the party who wants our borders wide open-- the ones who push special legislation through to get them scholarships and food stamps when they shouldn't even be here in the first place.
