Frightening thought, isn’t it? But increasingly, people are beginning to wonder about Obama’s maladaptive behavior.

Liberal Democrat James Carville railed about Obama's blasé attitude after the catastrophic oil spill until ordered to shut his mouth. The rabid liberals on “The View” have expressed sympathy for Michelle Obama's living with a man so out of touch. And an increasing number of Americans feel Obama to be “disconnected” from events.

It’s difficult to get a handle on Obama because he is so heavily scripted. There are huge gaps in the first 25 years of his life. Even Obama’s college records have been sealed which is unheard of for a President.

During the Presidential campaign, reporters on the plane with him would speak about Obama being distant. At times he would come out and simply stare at them in silence.

The Obama media interprets his “flat” emotional state as “cool.” But this belies the fact that if it were any other person, his mannerisms would be considered maladaptive and emotionally suspect. In point of fact, Obama’s responses or non-responsiveness are well known criteria’s for mental illness.

Obama had a very dysfunctional family history and upbringing. His grandfather, Stanley Dunham, was particularly maladaptive. He was expelled from high school for punching his principal; named his daughter Stanley because he wanted a boy; and exposed young Barry to the philosophy of a drunk and encouraged unrestricted visits with alleged Communist pedophile Frank Marshall Davis.

Obama’s father was an abusive, alcoholic bigamist. His mother disregarded his basic needs, dragged him all over the place, and ultimately abandoned him. His biological father was a drunk, a woman beater, a Communist and a bigamist.

Apparently, young Barry was left in the care of Communist Frank Marshall Davis, who admitted to molesting a 13-year-old girl. As a teenager, Obama wrote a disturbing poem, "Pop," that evoked images of sexual abuse -- for instance, describing dual amber stains on both his and "Pop's" shorts.

So the question remains as to whether the most powerful person in the world has severe emotional problems. In Obama’s world, he is surrounded by enemies. To America’s President, there are no disagreements. You are either on his side or his enemy.

We seem to have an unstable President longing for a father figure, choosing people like the America hating Jeremiah Wright Jr. as father surrogate and filling his administration with appointees demanding complete obedience from the American people in a utilitarian, collectivist, society.

Obama seems to view traditional America with hostility. He responds to crisis with either non-reaction or anger. He strikes out at friendly nations and embraces our enemies. Everything is someone else’s fault. We’ve seen this before in history. It ends in tyranny, blood and national destruction.
