I guess since they had to swallow their pride and use the Gulfstream there just wasn't enough room for the dog and one other person. Did you know the Pres. flew BO, the dog, in on a separate smaller jet to Maine for their vacation?



Wonder if that sets well with all the unemployed, hurting, US citizens who can't afford food, but we can pay for this. The above is true.

The president who said the rest of us are going to have to sacrifice to get out of these hard economic times let his dog fly on his own plane? Not enough room on Air Force One for a Portuguese water dog and Reggie Love? OH, by the way,
Mr. Love, Bo's handler, is paid $102,000.00 a year to take care of him.

RE: #1 - Yes several judges ruled both ways, that the individual mandate is constitutional and by others, unconstitutional.

RE: #2 - True, not now. But when OboCare becomes effective in 2014, there will be a national panel of 15 unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats that will dictate caps on benefits for those over 75y/o. Of course Barry obviously does not call them 'dealth panels', as they are a rationing panel.

Jud, are you kidding? The "rescue" failed! The billions of our Tax Bucks were poured down a rat-hole with no success! It wasn't until GM and Chrysler filed for bankruptcy reorganization that the "success" part provided any benefit. Once they were allowed to pull the trigger on Bankruptcy, the companies were able to get out from under both their massive debts and their "Legacy" obligations to retired union auto workers. Once free of the debt burdens, they used our "free" tax bucks to provide what was effectively 'start-up' capital to get the initial construction started on the new plants in China and in Brazil, which is where those thousands of jobs came from and why GM is now selling more cars than anyone in the world... because they are building Buicks in China, built buy Chinese. Chrysler in bankruptcy had its assets bought out by the UAW and by Fiat. Barry illegally structred the bankruptcy for both GM and Chrysler to have the UNSECURED Union debt obligations moved to a superior position ahead of the secured bond holders in what was a bankrupcy precedent. People (like me) who had paid a premium to buy SECURED bonds from GM, should have been at the head of the line in being paid off. That's what the terms of our bond agreement stated, but by Executive Order, Obo bypassed that minor technicality so as to get his Union Crony Pals on board with the bankruptcy making them superior to secured lean holders... as a result the Unions got back 100 cents on their unsecured dollars while those of us that paid a high price for a secured position, got just $0.32 on the dollar.
