When was the FIRST "Civil" War? What happened in 1861-65 was NOT a civil
war. The Confederate States were NOT attempting to overthrow the United
States; they merely WANTED TO LEAVE. 250,000 Southerners died defending
their states and about 350,000 Yankee invaders. NOW look around you at
what Mr. Lincoln wrought. He violated freedom of the press, religion and
Habeas Corpus. NOW LOOK AROUND YOU. Do you like what he gave you?
Do you think you're free?
It is the very notion that with hard work and

perseverance, anybody can get ahead economically here in the USA . Do you
think that can ever happen with tax rates between 60% and 80%? Think again.
With the government taking that percentage of your money, your life will be

exactly like life in Europe ... You will never be able to buy a home. You
will never buy a car. You will never send your children to college. Let's
not shuffle the battle cry of the socialists under the rug either. It's

always the same cry. Equalize income. Spread the wealth to the poor (whoever
they are). Level the economic playing field. Accomplish that and everything
will be rosy. You become an economic slave!!!
they are trying to get rid of most of our freedoms, redefining
words, brainwashing our kids, taking over everything , even something as
private as our healthcare, and using our Constitution as a door mat..

If you've started to wonder what the real costs of
socialism are going to be - once the full program in these United States hits
your wallet, take a look at the table. As you digest these mind-boggling

figures, keep in mind that in spite of these astronomical tax rates, these
countries are still not financing their social welfare programs exclusively
from tax revenues! They are deeply mired in public debt of gargantuan

proportions. Greece has reached the point where its debt is so huge it is in
imminent danger of defaulting. That is the reason the European economic
community has intervened to bail them out. If you're following the financial

news, you know Spain and Portugal are right behind Greece..
The United States is
now heading right down the same path. The VAT tax in the table is the national sales tax
that Europeans pay. Stay tuned because that is exactly what you can expect to

see the administration proposing after the fall elections. The initial
percentage in the United States isn't going to be anywhere near the outrageous
numbers you now see in Europe . Guess what. the current outrageous numbers in

Europe didn't start out as outrageous either. They started out as minuscule -
right around the 1% or 2% where they will start out in the United States .
Magically, however, they ran up over the years to where they are now. Expect

the same thing here.

History has painted Lincoln as some kind of hero when nothing could be further from the truth.
He made the choice on his own and did everything possible to sabotage efforts in Congress to avert going to war.

He knew there would be a heavy price to pay afterward and was making plans to colonize all newly freed people's to Central America and back to Africa.

He trampled on the Constitution and was actually the first progressive trying to undo what our founders had written.

No wonder he was put on Mt. Rushmore out of Washington and Jefferson's reach so they couldn't b!tch-slap him.

If we're not limiting the idea of civil war to our country, the answer is an obvious yes. I was watching the new Batman movie yesterday, and the idea of civil war between the extremes of our society was a clear theme.

There are not enough social deviants to start their own war..

That may be refered to as serial killing or a massacre....

I think civil war eventually involves everyone. But for the poeple who are not members of either extreme, it's more of a forced choice to survive. Even in the midst of a civil war, there are a large number of people who will keep their heads down hoping to not become victims of the crossfire.

We are already experiencing a civil war.

The war between the Religious Right who own the Republican/Tea Party and the rest of the people in the country that believe in the Separation of Church and State.

Soon that will come to a head and the Religious Right will LOSE!

Best not to polish your medal until you've won it. I do believe there are more people of faith in the USA than leftist anti-religion zealots... we will see very soon, in just 98 days, whether Americans will choose FREEDOM or SLAVERY to the state... we have one final chance to CHOOSE our path... Free or Slave..

Wasn't talking about "leftist anti-religion zealots" I was talking about the vast majority of people in the US that are getting sick and tired of the various religious organizations that are attempting to put religious dogma, doctrines and beliefs into our Constitutions and laws. In doing so breaking the principle of our Constitutions core value of separation of Church and State. There are millions in the country right now that feel that organized religion is nothing more than a fraud and scam against the general public, I'm one of them.

Don't like it wait a couple of years. Religious groups will either back off from their attempts to create a quazi theocracy or be put out of business.

Did you miss the Tea Party referendum in 2010? We don't much care for anti-religious darwinian socialist types messing with our country. If you couldn't tell that we are the vast majority, I'd suggest getting a calculator.

Sorry but the number of people who profess to be religious is over 70%. The radical NAZI liberals only account for 20%. Liberals don't believe in guns, what are they going to fight with?

BTW, there is NO separation of Church and State. Show us the place in our founding documents where this fairy tale exists.

    Well let's just see, Ok?

According to the last set of reports, of the 320+ million people in the US, about 200 million are accounted for as having alliances with the various religious groups in this nation.

Second, you need to get some of your political reaities straight. The Nazi Party is a far right authoritarian designation, not a Liberal group at all. The NAZI's of WWII Germany were made up of the Political party of Hitler, the religious groups mainly the RCC and the industrialist/capitalists.

Third, the concept of the specific two phrases of the 1st Amendment to the US Constitution was to show that religion has no sway over the government and that the government had no sway over religion. This concept was pointed expounded upon by Thomas Jefferson and subsequently in many SCOTUS rulings as a core principle of our US Constitution.

I suggest you go back to high school and back to your US History and Government class to learn what our Founding Fathers really intended for our country.

Oh and here is a little chart to show just how wrong you are about poitical parties.
