Mexico isn't very stable in the first place. Our drug war has failed in epic proportions...and I'd wager we're certainly helping the civil war over there. However I think even without us they would be fighting...and that's because they have no control over the situation. The cartels have freedom, and no fear...that's why they are able to run wild. Mexico needs to clean house first.

However. I think if we ended prohibition we would indeed end a lot of issues here and in Mexico, we would strengthen relations, and both nations would surely benefit. Remaining in denial only hurts us more and more.
