"Is America Planning To Attack Syria or Maybe Iran"!

Joe61 2011/06/18 07:40:19
14 June. Iran Tuesday, June 14, warned the US against military intervention in Syria.

Reports, of an American naval and ship-borne missile interceptor build-up in the Mediterranean along with US fleet movements in the Aegean, Adriatic and Black Seas. The US Bataan with 2,000 marines, 6 fighter-bombers and 27 helicopters aboard is deployed opposite Syrian shores. The USS Monterrey cruiser armed with Aegis surface missile interceptors has been stationed in the Black Sea. Western sources additionally report a build-up of ship-borne anti-missile missile strength in the Mediterranean basin. Warned of a possible US operation against Syria, Hizballah is moving its ground-to-ground rocket arsenal from northern Lebanon to the center.

Western intelligence sources in the Persian Gulf are sure Washington is coordinating its military movements with Ankara and that Erdogan quietly agreed to place Turkish bases at US disposal for an operation in Syria.

Lebanon has a new government headed by Najib Mikati, ally of Syrian President Bashar Assad and Hizballah. Formed suddenly on June 13, the 30-minister lineup has earmarked an unprecedented 18 portfolios.....including defense and interior.....for Hizballah loyalists and pro-Syrian politicians. While fighting the uprising against his rule, Bashar Assad has recaptured Beirut. The appointment of friendly Fayez Ghosn defense minister places the army at the service of Damascus and portends trouble on the Lebanese-Israeli border.

Gone is the careful sectarian balancing act which maintained a measure of equilibrium and kept civil war in Lebanon at bay.

The breakthrough was directly spawned by the Syrian uprising: The Shiite Hizballah capitalized on neighboring unrest to grab its largest slice of government ever. Assad set up a second front against his foes in Beirut, added muscle to his military repression at home and signaled the US, Turkey and Europe that attempts to topple his regime risked sparking civil strife and chaos in neighboring Lebanon. The peril of inflaming the entire Levant was meant to deter foreign military intervention in Syria.

The operative word in this interrogative is "Planned". Of course there are contingency plans in place in a "what if" scenario. No doubt the Banking Cartel is pressing for WW III to increase profits and decrease the Human population.

Syria has Russian and Chinese Anti Missile Shields she also has other sophisticated land to sea missiles courtesy of Iran. So, Syria will strike back, as will Hezbollah in Lebanon and Iran won't sit on her haunches. If America attacks Syria, Irans submarines along with other warships. Have been laying up in Syrian ports and I believe Russia has a permenant naval presence in the Syrian port of Tartous .

But I think the most significant development here is Turkish ground troops moving across Syrian borders and taking up positions inside the Northern Syrian border. Does this not constitute an invasion of sovereign territory.

I don't pretend to know where we are going militarily - but this does not bode well! If we have all out war - I guess our unemployment problem will disappear!

Turkey, has moved troops into Northern Syria on the pretext of protecting civilians. Is America and NATO actually inflaming the Crisis currently affecting the Autocratic Governments in the Middle East.
