That's revolting. We have the government that we democratically elect. The system for doing this is screwed up in many ways, but an actual revolution would be far more destructive than can be justified by the potential gain.

There was never a doubt in my mind that the SC would NOT overturn this boondoggle. They are owned by the same people that bought and paid for the Congress and Senate thieves that passed this unconstitutional mess in the first place.

We are the government. If we disagree with our Reps and Senators, we can vote them out but we don't. Somethings gotta give!

It would work fine if the votes were counted. But now Rick Scott is allowed to decide who can or cannot vote. We can only guess how many states follow.

You're right. I have no faith in the voting system. Even if everyone who is entitled to vote is allowed to do so, there's always a way to rig the election. When you can't trust your election process, it's time to close up shop and head for the hills.

No. Where did I say that? I said the system is flawed not only in registering people to vote but also in counting the votes. But right now we are in danger of prohibiting many legitimate American voters from voting in a misguided effort to catch a few illegals who may slip through and try to vote. If this was and is such a great issue why, why, why did the powers that be wait until a few months before a presidential election to drag out this old chestnut. It should have been done right after the last election in preparation for this one. At this point there is no way to review all of the registered voter lists accurately and still ensure a valid vote in November.

My apologies as I took your comment as opposing Gov. Scott for suing the Obama administration for refusing to give them access to the database of registered voters which gives acces to voter information on whether one is legal or not.

Nope. Scott should get whatever he needs to validate the voter lists but he has to be very, very careful not to remove people unless he is absolutely certain that they are not valid.

Technically he is not removing anyone ... just identifying them. Those who are registered as illegal will get a letter requesting proof that they are now "legal". If there is no response by the time election comes their name will be flagged at the polls from what I understand.
