    Considering it was the women interviewing him who bought it up no I do not see this as him shiftting attention from the economy, if the right thought this wasn't a issue that could turn the majority of the vote away from them then this wouldn't be an issue. The fact that this is being bought up in fear that Obama is shifting the view of gay marriage from the economy just shows that those opposed to gay marriage now know their views against is the minority.

    He doesn't give a damn about the economy. He likes to compare himself to Lincoln. Well, when things weren't going well for the union, Lincoln would fire generals and put in men who would do what it took to win. Obama should have done this a long time ago with his economic advisers. This of course assumes that he wants the economy to get better, which given his liking of Alinksy, Cloward and Piven and generally anything statist makes me seriously doubt his intentions.

    It's an issue, that needs to be dealt with. Whatever side you sit on. Where are the complaints about the law makers in NC passing a law against it? Are they to busy worrying about gay marriage and not the economy?

    You betcha it is. In a few weeks it'll be a different distraction. His Campaign knows he can't run on his record, so this is their plan til Nov. But, no matter what obama does Romney needs to stay focused and not be drawn into the silly battles obama's trying to create and keep hammerin' him on the economy and jobs.

    What better way to get peoples minds off of the economy? Because you know all the gays are going to be celebrating and that's all they will be able to talk about...I've already seen it on several programs...that's the hot topic. Why isn't the economy the hot topic? At this point I could care less if gays can get married or not....what does it matter if our economy collapses? Not one damn thing!!
