ABCNEWS.GO.COM reports:
So-called “sin taxes” exist for smoking, gambling and alcohol, so Illinois State Sen. Toi Hutchinson says it’s about time there was a “skin tax” for strip clubs. That's documented in Marilyn Yalom's "History of the Breast." Strippers who were interviews remarked that men would complain about their wives to them, because they weren't as sexually expressive as the women in the stip-club.
The women in the strip-clubs were faking it, and the men weren't able to perceive that.
If you want to talk about unfair taxes, how about the tax that is going to be levied on us for not buying insurance that covers things that people find morally objectionable.
You are giving examples of wrongful taxation, as justification for *MORE* unjust taxation.
This type of creeping tyranny in turn, "Makes it okay", for "the tax that is going to be levied on us for not buying insurance that covers things that people find morally objectionable".
The relationship between strip clubs and sexual abuse only exists in the narrow minds of those who want to tax them out of business.
And this being Illinois, the funds will quickly be redirected to other pet projects anyway.
