Is 2013 the Real 2012?

Apocalyptic fever is running high. A friend in the Bible Belt, who
recently became “born again,” called me excitedly to tell me she was
leaving me her house. “In case I suddenly vanish,” she confided.

Of course. She would be raptured up and I, a hardcore “One God”
believer, would be left behind. How sweet of her to make preparations
for the damned.

But as the projected date for the rapture came and went and disappointed, my friend abandoned her newfound religion.

Not so fast for the 2012-ers, however. The end of the world is still
scheduled for December 21, 2012 according to those who buy into the
Mayan prophecies, Planet X, Niburu, exponential solar flares – did I
miss anything? ...

Sounds like your friend is a simple minded girl. Normal in other words. The end of the world as we know it is coming. Not a matter of years anymore! The galactic alignment will occur this year, and the fact is; No one knows for sure what is going to happen.

What you can count on is, soon everyone's world is *going to change in such a way, 911 will be fondly remembered as the 'good 'ol days'.

Oh boy, these people have no clue because they fail to read their own Scripture, and take it out on poor, unsuspecting new believers who truly have no clue cause they just got here. The official position of Scripture is: There is no Pre-Tribulation Secret Rapture, so get used to being here when it hits the fan. Last Trump means Last Trump, not before. It's a narrow road for a reason people, you don't get a get-out-of-jail free card because you said a pray after me prayer, you have to live it, and overcome trials and tribulations. Sorry to burst every Baptist's hopeful bubble, but facts are facts. Also, certain Biblical Pre-requisites have to occur, and it will happen on a day in God's Calendar, not the Pagan,Julian Calendar we all use today. Dec. 21st isn't the beginning of a feast, a month, a day or a year on the Biblical Calendar, so I think we'll be ok.

I read it, and the bio-warfare is just apart of the same sick elitist agenda too. It could be the Phamakia and disease that is spoken of, but Government agenda has always been to force fear into an apocolypse, or create it in a lab. Doesn't negate my earlier comment on 2012, but the bio-weapons have always been out there since agent orange, it's just a matter of using them on a global scale. Their issue has been outbreak, and not being able to contain the strains, or they would have done it already.

The end of the world crowd is very, very fickle it seems as how many thousands of times has some charismatic person claimed to know the exact date, rallied people and the date came and went with no occurrence?

Is it really too much to ask that people live their lives to the best of their ability, and make everyday count over constantly fretting over when they will all die?

The proliferation of BSL-3 and BSL-4 laboratories across the United States since 2002 is greater than what our country needs and what its safety and security net can absorb. One-off NEPA processes are not sufficient or appropriate for this national-scale problem. Congress should impose a moratorium on federal funding for construction and commissioning of new biodefense labs.
