Iran, world powers deadlocked at nuclear talks

Late on the second and final day of talks in Moscow, diplomats said
negotiators were still far from agreement on Iranian work which the
United States, China, Russia, Germany, France and Britain fear may be
aimed at building nuclear arms.

Let us be totally honest here. It
is NOT the United States, China, Russia, Germany, France and Britain
that want Iran's nuclear power program shut down. It is Israel.

Not then, a quick review of the actual facts.

Iran has signed the Nuclear Non
Proliferation Treaty, and so has the United States. Under the terms of
that treaty Iran is allowed to have nuclear power, medical isotopes and
other peaceful industrial uses of nuclear technology. Under Article IV
of the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty, the United States is obligated
to assist Iran in the construction of peaceful nuclear facilities, which
is a damned fine way to make sure nothing clandestine is going on. But
in ignoring article IV and in trying to coerce Iran into surrendering
their NNPT rights, it is the United States, not Iran, that is in
violation of international law.

Iran allows IAEA inspections, and innuendo
and rumor aside, absolutely no evidence of weapons development has been
found. Like Iraq, the claims of WMDs are a lie used to sell a war.

Iran has not initiated a war of conquest in 200 years, a claim not matched by the US or Israel.

Israel, on the other hand, has never signed
the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty and does not allow inspections.
Yet they have nuclear weapons, as first revealed by Mordachai Vanunu in
1985 and most recently by Germany, which admitted they knew Israel was
arming the German-supplied Dolphin submarines with nuclear-tripped
cruise missiles. Israel likes to pretend they do not have nuclear
weapons and the US goes along with this gross deception because it is
illegal under the Symington Amendment to the Foreign Appropriations Act
and the Glenn Act for the US Government to send taxpayer money to any
nation in possession of nuclear weapons technology that has not signed
the NNPT and refuses IAEA inspections. But there is no question Israel
is a nuclear power and worse, as documents uncovered from the former
government of South Africa officially confirm. Israel has been engaged
in clandestine sales of nuclear weapons; the very activity the NNPT is
designed to block.

So why, if Israel is indeed a nuclear
power, do they have their knickers in such twist over Iran (or anyone
else) having a nuclear power plant and medical isotopes? Sales! Israel
exports nuclear products and as long as they are the only supplier they
can charge whatever price they want. But if other nations start
exporting peaceful nuclear products competition will drive prices down,
and THAT is the real reason Israel bombed Iraq's power station at Osirak
and is demanding that Iran shut down ALL nuclear activity, even that
which is demonstrably peaceful in nature. Israel is not afraid of Iran
in the military sense. Israel is just greedy, and Iran is threatening
Israel's nuclear monopoly in the region. and THAT is the real reason
your children are going to be sent off to die in the coming war with
Iran.

While this country, Europe, and the rest of the world are all currently
suffering from a near depression economy, these warmongers in Washington
will never stop being obedience to AIPAC, and to Bibi and company
demands and wishes.
