An Indiana father watching television with his children was accidentally shot to death by his 3-year-old son after the boy found a loaded handgun nearby, police said on Saturday.

Thankfully such incidents are extremely rare.
Children and parents are in far greater danger from cars than guns.
But why does it happen so often that people leave negligently guns, other arms or dangerous objects within the reach of children?
I don't believe in accidental shootings, its carelessness and/or ignorance.
Lightweight and obviously a light trigger pull..
