Trail, jury, evidence, conviction, death sentence. Would rather have another form to carry out the death sentence, but yes.

the only disappointment was the time it took to convict him.

Why did it take 12 years to convict him? They should of executed him sooner.

When you get a conservative who does a damned good imitation of a mocking bird, and refuses to actually READ your responses, whose logic is broken and sometimes completely absent, and yet insists on to replaying every single one of your posts with a personal attack based purely on being labeled a liberal...

Block is the only adequate response. No sense feeding the conservative trolls.

Personally, I have no objection to executing murderers providing, of course, that there is unimpeachable evidence of their action(s). The attachments here are too sparse to show whether or not such evidence existed.

If you kill a criminal rather than "try and understand him", you may or may not prevent further crime; but you'll absolutely guarantee that THAT person will never harm another person.

India still lags far behind other execution countries, such as, CHINA, USA (TEXAS), IRAN, SYRIA, IRAQ, NORTH KOREA, PAKISTAN, and SOMALIA.

And, you gotta admit that unnecessary killings are barbaric, morally reprehensible, and most civilized cultures have banned executions.

Unnecessary..? So if I am understanding you, your good with terrorist? Whats reprehensible is all the men women and children he either had a direct hand in or supported it covertly, personally, It's to bad they can't hang em more than once... He'll Never hurt anydone again...

  • Hillary... timberwolf 2013/02/13 00:43:52

Get a grip, Timberwolf, it's actually cheaper than executions. Since costs are your primary concern, do you support three strikes for non-violent criminals?
  • timberwolf Hillary... 2013/02/13 01:17:29
    timberwolf
Housing animals for 20 yrs is less expensive than execution? Wha...? a 50 cent piece of lead will solve all their problem sounds to me that 's pretty damned economical... where did the non-violent come from..?
  • Hillary... timberwolf 2013/02/13 07:22:04
    HillaryLover
Okay, let's try this again. The legal process to capture, try, convict, sentence, the mandated by law appeals, and the execution rituals, cost more than life without possibility of parole sentences.

Non-violent means crimes that does not involve violence. Whereby, poor people, drug addicts, and other substance abusers, are caught committing basically misdemeanor crimes that become felony crimes by virtue of their past record

Now, about the 3 strikes. This is a separate issue. Since you see yourself as a law and order man, do you favor 3 strikes for non-violent criminals?
  • timberwolf Hillary... 2013/02/13 18:01:58
    timberwolf
You have a problem with Law and Order... you sure seems to spout alot about it... 'If yo can't do the time, don't do the crime... But than those Non- that you speak of in general are repeat offender's Strike 3, Ya
    lock their dumb ass up...

Death penalty countries: CHINA, USA (TEXAS), IRAN, SYRIA, SAUDI ARABIA, NORTH KOREA, IRAQ, NIGERIA, PASKISTAN, AFGHANISTAN, SOMALIA.

Countries that abolished the death penalty: GREAT BRITAIN, FRANCE, GERMANY, RUSSIA, CANADA, AUSTRALIA, SPAIN, ITALY, SWEDEN, NORWAY, SOUTH AFRICA, IRELAND, DENMARK.

Are you sure that you want the US identified with the top group?

What better method is there some one needs to send the terrorist a message or we will continue having problems with them .I for one don't want another 9-11 or anything close to that.
  • Hillary... ed 2013/02/13 20:59:33

Seriously, Ed, do you really see the death penalty as a deterrent to terrorism? Those guys on the planes on 9/11/2001 might have been concerned about that? Christopher Dorner feared the death penalty?
