    The article doesn't really give enough info to make a decision -- a "IDK" option would have been good here.

    If blacks and older people don't apply, they're unlikely to be hired. That doesn't prove discrimination or racism.

    I would have liked an "I don't know." choice. There's not enough information in the article for me to say. I have no doubt racial discrimination is alive and well in this country. Whether this company is guilty of discrimination I can not say. :-)

    I grew up in a town that had an un-b-out and was just in vegas, in both places there were several minorities represented by the employees. Also my gay friend worked at the one in my home town.

    “We hire from our local communities and our restaurants reflect the demographics of that community." So much for hiring minorities of said community... Of course that could work against anyone who is a minority of said community. Looking at the demographics of the communities where In-N-Out builds their restaurants should pretty much tell all...
