In light of the Obamacare decision I'm not sure that we can be saved without civil war.

It appears that our rights are being attacked by every single direction. The POTUS ignores whatever laws he doesn't like. He make executive decisions in areas that are relegated to Congress. The SCOTUS is making unconstitutional decisions that prevent us from defending ourselves and allows the government to force us to buy that which we don't want. Congress is heavily corrupt. One party is far gone into radical Socialism/Communism/Fascism and the other one is more than half gone into greed and only being reelected to the point that they are to weak to challenge anything that needs to be. We have lost all 3 branches of federal government. With great majorities Congress and given our rights away in things such as the NDAA and they continue to allow money to be spent at ungodly amounts.

So here is the question: do you think it is going to take civil war to bring our freedoms back?

That will indeed be the final option, but I hope for all our sake we still have others left. For aleftist Government like the one we have now Civil War would be a Gd send, allowing even more opportunity to ignore the Constitution and foment disunity among the citizenry. And they already manufacture enough without bloodshed.

I stand ready to fulfill Thomas Jefferson's claimthat a little revolution now and then is a good thing, but I hope we can weed our garden without killing the produce.

It is going to take a revolt by the taxpayers, maybe we need a "working stiffs stay home from work" week. Let them get their "fair share" elsewhere.

Works for me. And why is it that the only option we're ever given when the two sides are talking about taxes is that we have to dump school teachers, firemen and police? Why don't we start with every governmental agency we have and reduce top management by 5%, middle management by 3% and lower management/supervisors by 1%? Seems to me like we could save lots of money. Then we could dump all the empty buildings the government has never used, no longer uses, and we still pay for. We could impose those who go to conferences paying for them out of their own pocket - sort of like I have to do. That's enough for now, but no one, not even conservative talk radio, talking heads on TV, including Fox, ever says dump from the top. All we get is "Ooh, the big bad conservatives want to get rid of teachers and make your kids stupid, get rid of firemen so your house can burn down, and get rid of police so you'll have no protection." I'm getting sick of it, aren't you?

It may just be. I guess that depends on what happens on and between the election, and inauguration. I foresee one of two things happening.
    1. B.O. gets re-elected, and starts acting more like the dictator he wants to be. And we'll be at war with each other in two years
    2. Romney wins and B.O. has one of his cronies do something that will demand he declare martial law, and we'll be a war with each other in less than a year.

I'll be praying that neither happens!
  • Adam wysiwis 2012/07/09 13:04:19

You forget a modified version of 2. B.O. declares martial law to prevent an election and then wins be default and then we go to war.

Revolution is exactly what the far left want. America has been divided in every way you can think of. That's the oldest game in the book, 'Divide and Conquer'. They are doing a fine job of it. The only thing that will save America, is for everyone to understand what's going on, come together, and ...and....TAR AND FEATHER EVERY LIFER IN WASHINGTON!!!

Getting our freedoms back will take 234 years which we don't have.

But we damn well need to get active and do SOMETHING, but civil war makes no sense.

    I recommend cancelling this GOVERNment.

Answers confused me. I think I meant to select YES!.

I'm all for a civil war. obama has dismantled this country and we're looking at a shredded flag and a dictatorship. So WHAT do we have to lose? I'll gladly give my life to guarantee a future for my grandkids. I might also add that my fellow 'seniors' should be willing to join me.

I think we will see a growth of civil disobedience in this country, especially next year when things will probably hit the fan, if it's 0bama it will be worse. Presidential years are historically the best and it still sucks, just wait.
I say this A LOT I know but DON'T BE THE ONLY PERSON ON YOUR BLOCK WITHOUT A FIREARM, you may need it. I'm not saying buy up an arsenal, even just a 22 anything that goes bang goes a long way as a strong deterrent.

I'm not sure either but today the Supreme Court, headed by John Roberts took a firm stand AGAINST the American People.

We need to get rid of every damned democrat that we can. Some supremes need to be removed if they don't resign.

    Damn them!

A curse on the five supreme court "justices" who ruled against the United States Constitution. May they suffer painfully for their treason!

A curse on every congressmember who voted for it two years ago!

A curse on obama for having encouraged it and signing it.

As most of you will figure out, I'm just a little bit pissed off at those arseoles today.

I believe that Obama has already declared war on this country with his support of voter fraud, terrorism, Socialism and theft of public funds. Hopefully, he will be dethroned and we will not need a coup. Otherwise, I would be willing to fight (in any manner necessary) to see him driven from office.

I don't. This abhorrent passage just angers citizens and adding to it, being Election Year? Of course it is politics. The Dems think they have a Major Victory, they are celebrating Big Time. I say let them enjoy it while it lasts.

They'll Vote against this incumbent this Nov. 6th and it may make history as the Election that turned out the most legal Voters to unseat that Imposter. Our people have had enough.

Next question, who will monitor the polls? Is that where the foreign nationals come in and observe our Election?

    Polls? Schmolls -
