What a load of inane vituperation. I have always thought Zimmerman was innocent, but I am black and liberal. I voted for President Obama last time and I will this time again. That does not make me gullible or stupid and it does not make me have the knee jerk reaction of believing Trayvon was shot because he was black or that Zimmerman wanted to shoot him or was "hunting" him. Both sides of this argument need to grow up and stop stereotyping their opponents.

Only a police officer has the responciblity of carrying a weapon to a confrontion with a fellow citizen. If there had not been a big stink over this, Zimmerman would not face prosecution.

If Zimmerman never got out of his car and chased after him with a loaded gun, Martin would be alive today.

The sad part about this is the police should have insisted Zimmerman go the ER to have his injuries documented, drug tested him like they did Martin, and gathered his clothes and his gun as forensic evidence. The poor police work will probably wind up resulting in Zimmerman not being convicted. And then those who side with Zimmerman will mock everyone else, saying he was innocent. I feel bad for the family though. Nothing, not even a conviction for murder or manslaughter will ever get their son back, but at least they are getting a trial now.

There was a racial narrative on this from the start to make it a race issue. Initial reporting lied and misled about Trayvon's age and stature. They also showed aged photographs showing a much, much younger Trayvon and a much heavy Zimmerman in a DOC jumpsuit. They covered up the cuts on Zimmerman's head, altered the 911 tape and tried to add that Zimmerman called Trayvon a "coon." They also claimed Zimmerman was white leading to a whole series of actual racially motivated attacks against whites as "justice for Trayvon."

Now we know that Zimmerman had cuts on his head and a broken nose. Witnesses report seeing Zimmerman on his back getting beat. CNN issued a correction on the "coon" story. We've heard the full 911 audio.

Now we know that Trayvon, was aggressive (Facebook about him beating a bus driver). We know that Trayvon was into drugs (THC found in his blood and a record of drug issues).

Yes it was. When the editing of 911 calls and picture blurring was found out, it should have been a clear picture too all just how motivated many were at making this a race issue.

The kid was just walking around his own neighborhood while it was raining, he did NOTHING except "look suspicious" to a fool with a gun.

Zimmerman made the choice to get out and pursue someone who committed NO CRIME. His only "crime" was looking suspicious.

In the recording Zimmerman states "something is wrong with him", "these a__holes they always get away". Who do you think he is talking about?
