In a riveting interview on CNBC, legendary investor Jim Rogers warned Americans to prepare for "Financial Armageddon," saying he fully expects the economy to implode after the U.S. election. Is Romney our only hope of averting that?

I don't think either can avert the deficit issue which will come crashing down like stacked boulders on our head!

History has shown financial collapse leads to dictatorships. Obama say he is 24/7 focused like a lazer on unemployment. He just has a different goal then we think he has..

If he's focused like a laser on unemployment, he seems to be focusing on making sure it's as high as possible.

Not so high as to lose the election this year, but if he wins, there's no telling what his second term will bring about.

Ron Paul would be the only possible solution and the corporations and banks made sure that wouldn't happen. It isn't likely a change to a sane government would help us now much less one with Mayonnaise or White Chocolate in the driver's seat.

Paul talks a good game, but is really no more than an "armchair quarterback." Whereas, Romney's "been there done that."

Romney can play the game, but when the game blows up he will likely look to others, his international buddies to help him, which is probably why they're financing his campaign. This will mean the last of American sovereignty out the window.

Romney's as qualified as anyone in politics to turn our nation's failing economy around.
