This is a very unfortunate thing. People tend to follow what celebrities do, like they think because they are celebrities they know everything when in reality, they know nothing. People really need to learn to think for themselves and vote by learning about the candidates and not because George Clooney likes someone....that's just ridiculous.

I read an article that said basically McCain and Sarah Palin were shot down by the Comedians on TV more than anything else during the last camapign.

There were more Jokes made that were untrue statements, that swayed many voters.
Obama is absolutely right, these idiots in Hollywood weild a lot more clout than people give them credit for. Especially the ones about McCain's age affected a lot of people into thinking he might not live through 4 years.

Jay Leno making fun of Romney's wealth is a good example. While he is among some of the most wealthy celebrities in the country. And people use some of his so called jokes in conversations abbout the upcoming elections.
