At least you would admit the government was part of the problem. Imagine if the government was Homer Simpson and our economy was a nuclear reactor. If Homer Simpson did something to cause the next Chernobyl, would you expect he would be the best person to avert such a disaster then?

Who says I'm a big fan of Bush? He too was part of the problem. In fact, I will readily admit he CAUSED the problem. However Obama has done nothing but point fingers and pass blame instead of rolling up his sleeves and getting the work done himself. He's done a wonderful job in making sure everyone is forced to have health insurance within the next couple years instead of working with employers in making sure people can find work. He extended the Patriot Act, signed NDAA into law, as well as legislation that can make any public gesture against any government official on public property a criminal offense. What am I supposed to think when I see a government official who promises you the moon but decides to take your liberties away (for your own safety of course....) and doesn't get the job done? If he were in the private sector he'd be fired already.

ahhh first im impressed you admit bush caused the problem but your a bit off on the Obama stuff.I travel around the country delivering freight and let me tell you I have not been this busy in 4 years and see help wanted signs all over.If it were not for Obama many many more in the car industry and all the supportting industries would be out of work also ,so he has done a good job of bringing things back without the help of congress which would have made things go alot quicker.He has also done alot that people dont think he has or dont know about for instance do you not see all the roads and bridges that are fixed or getting fixed ,the states have no money so where do you think it came from.Another area is home land security after the election watch and see ,his plane is to down size it and revamp it to be more efficent .If it were not for him we never would have gotten OBL because Bush had pulled all the intelligent agencies off and put them on Sudam. So there are many things people dont get and he has been slow moveing on some but you also got to remember if things came back to quick inflation would have gone through the roof so slow is not always bad.He aint the best we ever had but given what he walked into and what help he has gotten from congress I would say he has done a decent job
