The very thought of reverting back to the same failed policies of the past is not to be borne and that's exactly the road that Romney is forging. His signing Grover Norquist's pledge, signing the Ryan Budget "the first day I take office", absolutely no experience in foreign issues, in fact hiring the neocons that Bush had in his war cabinet as campaign staff, showing no core values, saying whatever audiences want to hear and changing his rhetoric daily to fit the occasion must give even the most viral Obama haters pause, ya think?

tell us the experience the community organizer had? zero. what are obamas core values? entitlement state comes to mind, where all are equal regardless of the effort they put into it. in case you have not heard, capitalist economies thrive where others fall by the wayside. those who think differently should go live in some of the "model" countries they so wish to be like. they would return with a very new outlook. I have been and lived all over this great world, and believe me, what we had is much betterthan where we are going. we are not feared or respected, we are quickly becoming the laughing stock on the world stage. say it isn't so....but only if you are well travelled.

communism and socialism have been proven by time to fail. yet "progressives" and liberals seem to think that reverting to those policies is a step forward. seems an oxymoron to me.

Yet "forward" has been the rallying cry of the communists for 150 years. Now they use "progressive" more, but it's the same thing.

    Thanks for serving, BTW.

Citizens United will go down as one of the worst decisions by the SCOTUS. Corporations are not people, but are trying to buy elections.

From one old warrior to a young warrior, thank you very much for your service from an old Sgt.E-5. It seems to me that the ultra conservatives in this country have a very rigid manifesto describing their ideology and if anyone deviates from that rigid belief then they must be communists or socialists or democrats which those on the right want to bundle together. I hate communism and communists and I hate even more those people that send jobs to communists while America needs jobs. I guess my question is how do you call American citizens, that love the citizenry, communists with disdain while at the same time supporting the very people sending jobs to communists and thereby choosing greed over the welfare of Americans. This practice is only making China more powerful and these corporations doing this are applauded by the republican party.
I am a senior citizen in the autumn of my life but I can assure you NO ONE has ever called me a communist to my face.Should that ever happen one of us will be in jail and the other in the hospital or worse.

This President has shown his mettle in the foreign policies. That's what you cons can't abide. "Entitlements"? Who have received more entitlements than the wealthy and who will get more from Willard at the diminishing middle class expense? We were not respected under Bush, the world was enraged at his war mongering. I have a cousin in the diplomatic corps stationed in the Middle East and we never knew his own political leanings until now. He has absolutely nothing but praise for this President and for the respect he has once again brought to our county. School yard bullies never succeed in the end and that's all we had.....remember, "Bring 'em on"? That sure worked out well, didn't it?

shown his mettle my rump. by what, telling the russians he will have a little more leverage to give them whatever they want once all this election mumbo jumbo is over. selling out to immigration? what mettle? i dont recall any rich folks in the idiotic obama campaign videos saying obama was gonna pay they mogage and gas....do you? The world feared us under bush, and now with the weak kneed dufus they laugh at us and just blatantly do whatever they want, they know there will be no recourse from the community organizer. I live 6 months a year in the middle east toots, so there is not a damn thing you or your cousin can tell me about what is the temperature here. save it for some liberal nitwit who will buy your lies. it ain't me. tell me this, does Iran respect us? venezuela? cubba? russia? n korea? africca? afganistan? pakistan? the pakis are in th emidst of a crumbling government and guess who is poised to take control of their nuclear arsenal???? al qaida. any questions einstein?

Who is going to believe you but other brain washed RWNJs when hordes of people cheer the president in whatever country he visits, and Bush was protested against. Romney is already agitating countries with his war mongering rhetoric. His two top foreign policy advisors were the ones cheerleading the Iraq War on every media outlet for Bush.

Au contraire. We tried it the conservative way and it totally and utterly failed in every way possible. The opposite side has not been perfect by a long shot, but a heckuva lot better than what the cons have ever offered.
