Question US
[+] Imagine the 2000 presidential election allowing each of us a "for" vote and an "against" vote. How do you think you would have voted? Cast your vote FOR a candidate here, then cast your vote against a candidate on the other page.

This is the POSITIVE vote part of a dual-vote poll. For a write-in, choose None of the Above. You may also cast your negative vote at http://www.sodahead.com/poll/79666/
You may also want to vote in my 2004 presidential election poll:

Vote for Al Gore (Democrat)
Here are the poll results at this time...
16 net votes for Al Gore (Democrat) [ 17 - 1 = 16 ]
4 votes for Harry Browne (Libertarian)
2 votes for Alan Keyes (Republican)
2 votes for Bill Bradley (Democrat)
2 votes for Howard Phillips (Constitution)
1 net vote for Pat Buchanan (Reform) [ 2 - 1 = 1 ]
1 write-in vote for Bob Kerrey
4 net votes AGAINST John McCain (Republican) [ 1 - 5 = -4 ]
28 votes AGAINST George W. Bush (Republican)
note: This is counting three write-in votes as follows...
1 for Al Gore
1 against George W. Bush (cast as a negative write-in in place of a positive vote)
1 for Bob Kerrey of Nebraska.
That's 66 votes total, with Al Gore's 16 net votes being equal to eight thirtythirds or about 24.24% of the gross total votes cast, while George W. Bush's net vote count of 28 against would give him negative fourteen thirtythirds or about -42.42% of the total gross vote count, for a spread of 44 net votes in favor of Al Gore over George W. Bush out of 66 gross total votes for or against any candidate. That's a 66.666...% spread in favor of Al Gore over George W. Bush.
The winning net vote count at this time (July 1st, 2008) would therefore be
Al Gore with a net vote count of 16 in this dual-vote balanced plurality poll.

I'm posting it here for others to see as well. I notice you have already found the Negative vote part at...

note-
on the 'mccain' vote-
I was talking with a coworker an hour ago. We came to the conclusion that the Dems may win this years Pres. Election because no one really believes McCain enough to honestly vote for him.
I think for McCain to bring Republicans to his side is to maybe find Newt Gingrich or Oliver North to balance his ticket.
Yes, I have heard that about McCain also. I'm not sure who I would want as his vice president if he were to win, but I wouldn't want to help decide that anyway since I will probably leave the country while we still have the freedom to do so if he wins the presidency, so it wouldn't be fair in that case for me to have had a say in who would be his vice president.
None of the above
