I'm trying to come to terms with what it means to be American. I understand people see Obama as some kind of traitor, an interloper, a racial pariah. But was George W Bush so wonderful? Did no-one find flaws during those eight years?

Certainly many found flaws in G.W.'s presidency, as well, just not the minute he got elected for that office. What "it means to be American", varies greatly, depending on which American you're talking to.

    Bush was American. Obama isn't.

Bush made his share of mistakes and took advice from the wrong people.

0bozo usurped the office, came to DC with his cabal of domestic terrorists and attempted to implode the USA from within. ANYBODY else would have been tried for treason a LONG time ago.

To be american is to be an uninformed consumer. Buy what we tell you, eat what we tell you, watch what we tell you, you don't have to think for yourself, we will do that for you. What? Your not happy? It's that guys fault over there, in that big whaite house. No. No need to do anything, you can change it in four more years......Trust us......
