You really don't know? Don't you know about his tax policies for example? Mitt wants to do away with the estate tax which sounds good doesn't it? Who wants to pay taxes when they are dead right? Except the estate tax is only paid by a small percentage somewhere between 5 and 10% I would guess. But guess what will happen when that tax is done away with? Do you know? I do and this will result in the rich getting richer and the middle class poorer. See if you can figure it out.
How is getting rid of a tax burden on a group of people equate to giving them other people's money?
I'm not following that logic. Could you please explain it to me?
Also, assuming that 'middle class' doesn't include those receiving aid from the federal government (I'm sure that we can agree on this), how are they going to be made poorer from not having an estate tax on the rich?
Pick up a rock in the yard...any rock... Earnestly try to have an intelligent conversation with it...You will get further with the rock than a drooling libtard...at least the rock will sit quietly and not drool on it's shirt .
You obviously do not know much about Mitt so let me tell you. If the estate tax is done away with, the step up valuation in the tax code for inherited property is also gone. This means when you inherit your parents house your valuation will be from your parents initial purchase, and not at heir time of death.
My parents recently died and left a house valued at time of death at approx. $800,000. Under the present system, we had to pay no estate tax and if we were to sell the property, our value at it is at $800,000. Now if Mitt was president, we would be subject to capital gains of $750,000. Original cost of that home in the fifties wasn't more than $50,000.
So bottom line effect of this is the rich get to keep their wealth while the middle class will have to pay more taxes. Hence the reason why I call Mitt the socialist for the rich as he wants to transfer wealth from the middle
Also, assuming that 'middle class' doesn't include those receiving aid from the federal government (I'm sure that we can agree on this), how are they going to be made poorer from not having an estate tax on the rich?
The middle class will now be subject to taxes which they didn't have to pay before. They will therefore become poorer while the rich become richer. Tell me do you think Bill Gates would have started the Gates foundation if he didn't have to worry about estate taxes?
What do you mean the middle class doesn't receive aid from the federal government. Of course it does especially in times of disaster. That little fire in Colorado Springs, you don't think there will be any federal aid flowing to them?
ObamaCare " IS " The Largest Tax Increase In History ! There are 12 NEW TAXES ( at last count ) in ObamaCare . ...........When you Sell Your House , There is A 3 1/2% TAX that goes to ObamaCare . THANKS Mr. Obama , For Robbing The Poor & Middle Class !
What specific taxes are you talking about? Obama main tax increase has always fallen on those making $250,000 or more. We are in these deficits because republicans being the hypocrites they are gave tax reductions during a time of war which blew out the balanced budget. Don't ever refer to your selves as conservative. ok? Just refer to your selves as socialists for the rich.
ya ya ya. Said the same thing about Clinton's tax cut too. They also said that it would lead to an economic collapse second to none. Fact is just didn't happen. In fact under Clinton we had an expanding economy that didn't end until you idiots started practicing voodoo in 2001. Way to go bin laden lovers.
Mitt will subject inherited property to capital gains from original point of sale where currently there is none. I am more concerned about that.
Only a fool, Doodle, idiot, imbecile, jackass, jerk, madman, nincompoop, ninny, jester, chump, easy mark, sucker, simpleton, victim, half-wit, moron,,, Village idiot!....wait he's in the white house, would Vote for Obama!
Romney is " The Lesser of Two Evils " , that much is certain . For one thing , He Is A MODERATE at best and doesn't have a conservative bone in his body .............. BUT , he is way better than the Socialist Obama . The only way we are guarenteed a good ticket is if Romney Picks A CONSERVATIVE VP ! ( Mark Rubio comes to mind . So does Rob Portman from Ohio , my state . ) We need a SOLID majority in the Senate to make any kind of progress , however .
In honor of the 44th President of the United States , Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream has introduced a new flavor: " Barocky Road ."
Barocky Road is a blend of half vanilla, half chocolate, and surrounded by nuts and flakes.
The vanilla portion of the mix is not openly advertised and usually denied as an ingredient. The nuts and flakes are all very bitter and hard to swallow.
The cost is $92.84 per scoop...so out of a hundred dollar bill you are at least promised some CHANGE..!
When purchased it will be presented to you in a large beautiful cone, but after you pay for it, the ice cream is taken away and given to the person in line behind you at no charge.
You are left with an almost empty wallet, staring at an empty cone and wondering what just happened.
Then you realize this is what "redistribution of wealth" is all about.
Obama is SOOO far ahead of Rmoney in every catagory! Romney will not be "President" even if he IS elected! He will be a talking head for Karl Rove, Grover Nordquist, The Koch Bros., Addelson, and half a dozen other billionaires who will have him asking "how high?", when they tell him to jump! Obama doesn't "jump" for anyone, he THINKS before he moves!
I have to hear this.

My God, we're in trouble. lol.
