LA GLORIA - An illegal from Honduras is recovering after he was rescued by Border Patrol agents.
Agents assigned to the Rio Grande City station were on patrol when they came across a group of seven illegals.
The men told agents they had been abandoned by their smuggling guide after they stayed behind trying to help one of the men in the group who was experiencing leg paralysis.
Agents carried the man who was having problems to a vehicle so he could be taken to a hospital.
