I figured that Eric Holder would be found in contempt of Congress. The GOP are evil and they will do anything to bring down Obama's Administration. I'm glad the Dems walked out when the vote came up.
I was hoping that the Healthcare Bill would be upheld. But I really thought the 5 conservatives on SCOTUS would deep six it. I was euphoric when I heard that it had been upheld and shocked that it was Roberts who was the swing vote. Glad it passed though. It will mean a lot to those without health insurance.

I just hope he gets kicked out of office in Nov. I am not impressed.

i think obama will lose in nov. romney has some good ammo and a new commercial to put out against obamcare and the taxes this will raise.

Obama will lose the election in Nov. The Senate is won by the Republicans in Nov. Eric Holder is guilty of contempt of congress.. Obama Care is repealed by Congress in Jan. 2013..

If everyone did his job properly, Holder would be guilty of contempt of Congress and Obamacare would be totally unconstitutional. I don't think either will happen. I don't think we have a collection of guts in DC to actually take care of the problems - if we did, they'd have already acted.

Well Tasine, you have the legal experience so I have to give pause to your statement. But I rely on human nature. For obamacare I see the mandate taking a nose dive, not so much for it's unconstitutionality but one intentional embarrassment/attack on SCOTUS by obama during a State of the Union speech, his threats to the Justices over obamacare and his most recent 'up yours!' after their decision on the Arizona immigration bill. I imagine he's ticked them off royal!

As to Holder, I'm pretty sure he'll get the contempt charge but as we both know, nothing will come of it for years. It has no real legal bearing other than to begin a long and slow difficult process to retrieve those documents from the DOJ. Holder will be long gone before all the truth is revealed. But the fact that Holder and now obama (Executive Privilege) are hiding something I don't think Congress much less the American people will tolerate that. But it will be a long time before we know anything. Terry's parents may not live long enough to know the truth either.

I predict, the 'mandate' will b e ruled UNCONSTITUTIONAL, at the minimum. Whether SCOTUS severs it from the rest of the bill, I'm not sure. If they do, and let the rest stand, it will be CRIPPLED BIG TIME! If they don't, and trough it ALL OUT CONGRESS SHOULD GET TOGETHER AND REPLACE IT WITH ONE THAT WILL PASS 'MUSTER' (predicted time to passage- 40 yrs).
