I shop online - no worries.

If you can afford the extra shipping expense, you can usually have them shipped either Next Day Air, or 2nd Day Air, and they will be out on your front porch the next day or the day after.

I've been shopping online since I've had online and never had a problem. I don't shop with the smaller companies though. Just the big ones. I should just sign my checks over to Amazon this time of year.

No, I'm a PRO when it comes to shopping online. I only shop with well known companies, I type in their websites and I always look for the golden lock to ensure that the site is secure.

Oh, Amazon.com is great. Not to worry when dealing with them, I've been known to wait until the last minute when shopping with them and they have NEVER failed me in getting my stuff to their destination on time.

Have you tracked your packages? Amazon normally give you tracking info. But not to worry, Amazon is one of the BEST website to order from.

I have tracked them. The problem is the est. date of delivery has changed and it will be cutting it close. My son and grandkids will be coming this weekend so I don't have that much time left. I'll may be wrapping packages after they get here.

I go shopping for all my gifts to others. I also give gift cards for those that are hard to buy for.

I would love to give everyone gift cards, but the grandkids are still young, one 4 years old and two 6 year olds. They still like to open presents. If they were teenagers they would rather have money or gift cards.

I've got a few young ones myself that like to open presents. But I got quite a few that like to shop and buy their own gifts.

Thanks. This year I thought I ordered everything in plenty of time and chose ground. All of the merchandise was in stock and would normally be delivered in 7-10 days. Then they notified me some items hadn't shipped yet. I may be running out to the stores last minute. I hate that.

I hope we both get everyting we ordered in time. I don't know which is worse, waiting for the delivery and praying it will be on time, or going to the mall with thousands of other shoppers and worrying some crazy will come in with guns blasting.

I look at the guns blasting this way. In their own way they are terrorist if you let them control your everyday life. I don't worry about going to the mall and being blown away because 1) I know where I'm going when I die and 2) if it happens that way then it was my time to die. You can't live your life in fear of what migh happen.

I agree with you 100%. There are several reasons I don't go to the mall. When God was giving out the female shopping gene, I somehow missed the line. I hate to shop and always have. It gives me a migraine. The other thing is I'm pretty much home bound taking care of my mother. She has advanced Alzheimer's and we're pretty much joined at the hip. My excursions usually consists of a mad dash to Wal-Mart's for groceries. I'm very happy I can go online to shop, it's a big help.
