If you're a Mormon missionary, Mitt Romney's presidential run has been pretty good for business. But is the spreading of Mormonism good for our country?

Like many (I would hope all) Evangelical Christians, I will not vote for Romney. There is a Christian alternative running on Christian principals. I will vote for Virgil Goode, the candidate of the Constitution Party. click on image to enlarge VIRGIL GOODE
Orders of magnitude better than Islam. I agree that the Mormons are just this side of the Scientologists, but I'm more the 'religion requires freedom' guy. If you're religious you have built-in morals, and so there's less chance of losing your freedom. And hardly ANY chance of driving your country into the abyss of chaos and GOD-less communism.
No it's not, all religion is good for is to spread fear so these so called religious leaders can gain dominion over it's followers. "Opression at it's best!" Not good for this Country! WE ARE FREE HERE!! And religion takes that away from us. That is why I no longer affiliate myself with religion. And I have never felt so free before that. I still have my belief in God, and thats good enough for me and him.
I believe all people should believe in God and that Jesus died to save us from our sins. Religion should have no bearing in a political race the same as religion is not suppose to influence them when they are in office, yes its okay to say you are a Christian, Mormon, Catholic or Muslim but don't let it influence how you will run the country.
I believe right now that Romney would be better because of his business experience not because he is a Mormon.
Obama is a muslim Supremacist. Do you really WANT the spreding of Sharia insead? Mormons are Christians, after all. ISLAM is ANATHEMA! Obamais is a Traitor an is our enemy.
Mormonism is no more Christian than any of the other polytheistic religions which have named one of their gods Jesus. It is a grievous insult to Christianity to say that Mormons are Christian. I will not vote for either Romney or Obama, but if they were my only choices, I would have to vote for Obama. I will vote for the only true Christian Conservative running. Virgil Goode.

Mitt Romney is not running for the office of the presidency based on his being a Mormon any more than John Kennedy did as a Catholic. Why don't people get off the religious bandwagon and see that the only important -- note the word IMPORTANT -- issue for this campaign season is jobs, jobs, job, which in turn will spur the economy, give us money to pay down debt, so on and so forth. Romney, I assure you, is not going to have any spare time to be hawking any type of religion out of the Oval Office. There's just too much going on that is far more important. Call it Romney's "Cuban missile crisis" if you wish, but that's about what it will be like.
And, incidentally, let's pretend Romney would stand at the press conference podium and preach Mormonism. Do you really think that because he's president that a gazillion viewers are going to convert to Mormonism based on his preaching? Get a life, people. Besides, the Romney campaign isn't representing his religion as any plank of his platform.
Religion should not be mixed with politics.
Politics must consider the interests of a state and of its citizens, drive toward social justice, equality, solidarity and the respect of human rights, the protection of its natural environment and fauna and the country's vital resources.
Religions should bring inner peace, faith and love, and hatred and intolerance are unfortunately parasiting the true values of every religion.
the fact that romney is mormon is not a reason for me to vote for him. but the fact that he is mormon means that he is less likely to lie. obama is just trying to keep up a public profile.
i am mormon but i will vote for any one other than obama.
Neither good nor bad ... most religions have gone through growth spurts and "in" periods after a time most abandon the practice of their new found religion
Yes. It is good for the country, and it's good for the entire world.
It is the "stone ... cut out of the mountain without hands" of Daniel 2:25 that would destroy the kingdoms of the Earth. "And the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth." (Daniel 2:35)
