It's a cute idea, but half of America is not About to pick up and move. Look for states lining up to secede instead.

If Rick Perry wasn't such a pussy, Texas would be well on the road to secession from the Union entirely. It was thoroughly discussed at the Texas Republican Convention last year. With a proper nudge by a real governor, Texas would be a sovereign nation outside the reach of the Fed.

    Yea I know.
Our great ER doctor/ Govenor/ Kitzhaber could not wait to endorse the health plan.
But after we got rid of him when he said Oregon was ungovernable he came back like a wart.

Better take Michigan off the map. I heard that legislators were rushing to set up a new trough for their share of the pork. That was on the radio last week.

Here's an idea let's vote out of office ,President Obama!!! Along with the Democratic controlled U.S. Senate, and repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act [(PPACA) Obamacare]. Plus Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection , all the rewritten regulations and Executive Orders from this Administration.

I live in Fl but the problem is most people are trained to suck, along with sucking off my work ethic. I just want to know how it is that because I am driven to succeed, that somehow puts me in debt for people that are lazy?.If you don't work, you don't eat!.

Ayn Rand called them parasites. They love to make the worker feel guilty for his achievements so he will give his property to them.

This is not much the same circumstances as was the Civil War. It wasn't about Marxism taking over, it wasn't about redistribution, it wasn't about States Rights, it wasn't about fiat money, and it wasn't about debt.

Today we have 4 ways to go
    * First and foremost, economic collapse is inevitable
    * vote2012 is a joke is beyond all "hope" of curing fiat money, fiat debt and collapse.
    * Revolution fever is rising, but it seems foolhardy to make the nation all bloody merely to replace one Ruler with some other Ruler
    * Which leaves secession as a possibility

Or we can do nothing, which will mean collapse wins, shuts down government, and we all start all over with a voluntary system.

    Did I miss something here?

Only that Lincoln declared that secession was not an option, and cause is irrelevant.
I suspect blood WILL flow one way or the other. With the Terrorist Surrogate Administration buying up 400M rounds of .40 hollowpoints, we KNOW they're preparing to spill American blood. All we really need is an honest election with no vote fraud and no Media bias. Not sure how we'll ever get that though.

vote2012 is nothing but a huge joke. Doesn't matter how it comes out, the collapse remains before us.
Lincoln is irrelevant to all this. We now live in an insane collectivist "democracy".

That's cute, but just like ARRA stimulus all states took it.
With healthcare there will be a lack of govt funds that states who opt out who will have to go against the wrath of their constitutuents. We'll see. It's been done before. They all capitulated with ARRA, let's see who capitulates this time. You seem to forget that governors have a different boss than senators and congressmen.
