    I'm hoping SCOTUS overturns all of it so we can start over again with something far more reasonable.

    And, basically, ALL those you have named have led directly to Obama. They were all just stepping stones to the tyranny we see today.

    But I would not make it mandatory and take a good hard look at it and see what needs changing / tweaking.

    The only way Obamacare exists is the individual mandate. If that's ruled unconstitutional the whole thing may as well be scrapped because congress won't vote to fund it.

    ...she does not care ! For her its about keeping the bill in some form so Obama has his flag ship victory (at any cost!) she like most liberals will support it as long as it is called "Obamacare"

    This congress will not vote to fund it. This will hopefully change after November. However, the key benefit in Obamacare is guaranteed insure ability and that doesn't take funding.

    Had they ( Obama & administration ) spent the time working on jobs and our economy instead of a worthless Health Bill the vast majority didn't want during the time when he owned both the House & Senate, we might be in far better shape then we are now ! I think his wasted opportunity to leave a legacy will haunt him and our country for many years to come. Definitely makes Carter look good. Worst POTUS ever award !

    Forced health care is socialistic. Nowhere in the Constitution is authority given to any branch of the government to mandate or force health care on We The People. Free People have a choice, slaves do not.

    Than don't expect any health care if you're un-insured, or can't pay for the doctors services.

    If the government would stick to their Constitutional authority instead of trying to RULE us like some DICTATORSHIP there would be no problem. Americans have always been the most giving people in the world. If we had that extra 25-30% of the fruits of our labor, we would be able to afford more insurance AND at the same time give more to help our fellow man. But instead we have MANDATES and threats of violence against us from our "SERVANT" government if we do not "COMPLY".
  • Phantom Dr. John 2012/05/25 04:03:39

    No one's ruleing us like a dictatorship. I order too drive a car, you must first buy liability insurance. It's the same thing with health insurance.

    Thanks. I just did some reading up on this. There does NOT appear to be a Federal law requiring Americans to have auto insurance. It is not within the scope of the federal government to mandate we have auto insurance as that authority is not so stated in the Federal Constitution. (Art. 1, Sec. 8). It does have the authority to require insurance for Interstate Commerce (ie; Truck Drivers or Trucking company's that deliver from one State to another). Beyond IC it is solely a State matter. The same can be said regarding health care insurance. The federal government has no right or authority to make that mandate. There are three States that do not require auto insurance but they do require a bond, cash or a fee.

    Not one single line in the huge bill that reduces costs or even addresses costs. There is one section that suggests a "study" in one state about tort reform and that it! Just a token line item thing....absolutely NOTHING in it to help with costs.

    At who's expense?
    Tell you what, why don't all the people who are for a socialist government and socialist health care send their names to the federal government and THEY can divide the cost between them. Lower all the unconstitutional taxes on the rest of us so we can give more of our earnings voluntarily. Problem solved!!! Like I've said before; Americans have always been the most GIVING people in the world. We do not need a dictatorial government TAKING from us when we (OF OUR OWN FREE WILL) are willing to GIVE what we can.
  • Lt. Fred Dr. John 2012/05/24 21:45:51

    {At who's expense?}

    Nobody's expense. I told you; universal Medicare is cheaper than the alternative. You save money.

    {unconstitutional taxes}

    Taxation is perfectly constitutional.

    {Like I've said before; Americans have always been the most GIVING people in the world.}

    Charity is not sufficient.
