Seems to me that God provided natural filtering systems to maintain the earth.
Oceans are basically a filtering system.
- The salt disolves whatever sinks in.
consider over the centuries, the many ships that have sunk to the depths. Even the Titanic and more recent vessels become dust in short time.
Rivers flowing for centuries still have not drained their 'beginning point'.
-Water is evaporated into the clouds and rained onto the earth.
-the 'ozone holes', that people whine about, fluctuate in size pretty much in a cyclical pattern.
-CO2 is used by plants [trees, grass, bushes, etc.] in the same manner that we use Oxygen.
in my 50 years of living, I have heard cries of 'global warming' and cries of 'ice age'. Everytime the doomsayers have to rewrite their theory.
In the 1970's, media had school's convincing kids we were entering a major ice age. Ten years later it was global warming.
In the late 1980's, Georgia was recording record freezing temperatures.
Now, we're to believe in global warming again.
And already, there are news sites talking 'ice age'.
If you believe in GOD, why would anyone possibly believe in Global-Warming? Aren't we all only here until GOD decides the END is here?

The events of last week however, have taken that realization to a whole new level.

I think you can believe in GOD and also believe that man can impact the planet in disastrous ways but also for the first time in human history has the ability to make change on a global scale. At any rate you could argue that this is God's tool for the end as well. In the "End" if you believe in GOD then he and only he controls the End.
Recycling (we are running out of room for garbage), clean water, and such is good. But they need to stop raising OUR taxes and fees on utilities and such. If the govt. has the money for ALL of the pork projects such as turtle tunnels and airports for 300 people, then they should take that money and give us ALL solar panels. This is what could TRULY stimulate the economy. It would stop the need for power bills and such, and give that money back to the people. In turn, stimulating the economy.
I do believe that one day we will run out of room for garbage, run out of oil and gas, but these are not global-warming issues. These are Reality-issues.
God will determine the End.
I think global warming is over-rated and hasn't been proven to be more than an extension of natural up and down cycles (it sure has been cooler last winter, spring, summer and this fall), but it hasn't been disproven, and God can decide how and when he ends things, whether that's a Hollywood-esque End of the World scenario (nukes, asteroids, space plague or an actual hand coming down from the heavens to smite us) or allowing us to snuff ourselves with polution.
God and God alone will decide when this world is over.
Besides, Glo-bull Warming, is the most elaborate hoax perpetrated on humanity since crop circles.
To believe what Al Gore preaches is to deny God is in control of the earth. God will end the earth as we know it in his way not by mans way. Sensational headlines of Global-Warming sell a lot more paper and magazines than the truth.

Think about it this way: Would you want your children, or your grandchildren to have the world the way you have it today, or would you like to give your children and grandchildren something better then what you had.
