If I have my CCW on my person, or am in a room that gives me access to a backup gun :: I would meet the perpetrator in an aggressive manor, indicating to him that he/she is NOT welcome... What happens next, is in his control, not mine.

If I do not have a gun, I will attempt to access one of my other weapons (baseball bat, fire Poker, etc) stashed about the house, or attempt to trick the fellow into giving access to one of my guns - hidden in strategic locations.

Since I do not have my gun license as of yet, I would prob use the K-bar that I wear on my hip when im in the house.

Ar-15 simple accurate and light weight. the dog barks, I know when you're coming. If unable to get gun, then anything I can reach. Since you have no reason to be in my house without invitation you will be considered guilty until proven innocent.

I have a large dog outside in the back yard. I will know well before they even get close to the house that they are there. Once inside, they will be met with a barrel of a gun.

no, I mean by mouth that I would try to reason with them and give them statistics on how many people like them eventually get caught. And robbery is all they wanna go for because hurting people leads to really serious jail time.

If they manage to get over the fence or the gate and make it to the door, and break the door the frying pan comes flying. It will not be the first time. One of my brothers did it once for the fun of it and ended in the hospital with a concussion and 20 stitches on the head.

cast iron baby, and there are more where that came from. I do have a gun but prefer not to use it. If it's during the day, I'm always around something that can be used as a deadly weapon, at night than I guess my husband will bring out the gun.

Most criminals are lazy, and cowardly, when they rob, con, steal, they will generally choose the path of least resistance. Some experts agree that just letting a would be, intruder know you are armed will turn them away. But if they insist on an unwanted visit.

Absolutely right. I noticed you have a picture of the infamous ATTACK wiener dog, feared by man and beast alike. I have 3 ATTACK wiener dogs, NOTHING and I mean NOTHING, gets by them. They are an excellent alarm system.

you bet... I even have a sign on my front door that states " Caution...Killer Dachshund on Duty" people laugh at it until they ring the bell... he is bad to the bone... and is big on biting... usually gets them on the way out the door while I am trying to hold him off of them... ... he goes crazy like a savage pit bull or something... and of course you know about the hound in them ...mine sounds like he has treed a raccoon ... then I have my Rotties outside... they are kept in a well fenced enclosed pasture with my horse out front

LOL, thats cool, I forgot that they are also masters of the sneak attack. Funny for no bigger than they are they fear nothing probably trys to rule over the Rotties. How dose he do with the horses? Mine go wild when the Amish go by in a buggie.

my doxie is the lord and master and the rotties bow to him... the horse doesnt though I am pretty sure she either thinks she is a dog... or they are horse's... I let my doxie out there to play when I drag the hose out to water and spray down everyone in the heat but if my horse starts with a playful attitude i have to get my Doxie out of the pasture ... she would stomp him not understanding hes not big and swift like the rotties... ... the rotties and her have a go at each other all the time though but I know they are just playing...

It worked in my instance.

funny part, is he drew the attention of the police while leaving my subdivision doing about 60 in a 20. When they pulled him over, he told them there was a man with a gun chasing him! Which was true - I chased him out into the driveway.

Knife. I am quite good with them and don’t have to keep them locked up making them faster to get to. I can plant one from 20 feet with ease. I keep three in a big mug on my dresser just feet from my bed.
