Actually, there are a lot of people, both homosexual and heterosexual, that support gay marriage but have enough common decency to understand that not everyone has to have the same view.
Unfortunately, too few of them stand up against the bigoted, hateful heterophobes that give LGBT people a really bad name.
IF YOU ARE A SUPPORTER OF "gay marriage", DOES THAT MAKE YOU A BIGOT, HATER AND A HETEROPHOBE???

Well think about it. They've queered the political debate so much in this Country, that you are branded a hater if you eat a chicken sandwich and waffle fries. So let's test this theory...see if it holds water or if they are just carrying the water for a gay agenda.
If you stand up for a certain "type" of marriage, you hate.
If you stand up for traditional marriage, you hate.
If you stand up for "gay marriage",....you hate?
Does the shoe fit? Is what's good for the goose, good for the gandor?
Will the question of Where's Waldo ever be answered?

People "hate" because they have been taught to "hate". There is a progression to achieve that status.
It starts with basic prejudice, which is a LEARNED response from environmental social interaction with family, friends, workmates, religious associates etc, where in we absorb their likes and dislikes etc starting out as children.
Those LEARNED responses to the interactions graduate to "bigotry" when reinforced over time.
Once "bigotry" is fully ingrained the response to opposing points of view are immediate and irrevocable in the form of outrage and translate into "hatred" towards what ever it is that has offended you as a person with all the baggage one has attached to your personage.
The conditioned responses for those who do NOT support same sex "civil contracts of civil marriage" arise from extensive learned response behavior modification.
The conditioned responses of those who DO support same sex "civil contracts of civil marriage" arise from extensive education as to the real makeup of the human beings very broad range of physiological and psychological variability of human interactions.
So in each case it is a 'learned' response to external stimulus which creates the responses. The depth of the response is directly proportional to the depth of the learned material.
You see, if you stand up for a certain type of marriage and reject the other, then you're not supporting equality. By not supporting equality, you're basically saying that one party is better than the other, technically hating.
If you stand up for gay marriage you're supporting and promoting equality. Of course, if you support gay marriage but disapprove of heterosexual marriage then you're not supporting equality, which leads to what I said above.
You're not branded a hater if you eat a chicken sandwich and waffle fries. You're branded a hater if you fully support and agree with what the dude in Chick-a-Fil-A said.
This IS what he said:
"We are very much supportive of the family -- the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that.
"We operate as a family business ... our restaurants are typically led by families; some are single. We want to do anything we possibly can to strengthen families. We are very much committed to that," Cathy emphasized.
"We intend to stay the course," he said. "We know that it might not be popular with everyone, but thank the Lord, we live in a country where we can share our values and operate on biblical principles."

If you think that's hate...you really have issues...
Really, it's from both parties.
I suggest that they examine their own hearts first. I hate no one, not even my gay ex-husband!
nah, but nice way to make a point :-)
I was taken aback by all of this. We are all used to debating certain subjects, but this one was a new one for me. So yeah, it definitely exist. It's definitely a possibility. incest is very taboo.... so was homosexuality years and years and years ago.
The second problem is the assumption there is a legal reason to ban same-sex marriage as there is with the other two examples. (not moral but legal)
The third problem is one of simple logic. Using very extreme examples to support any argument means it is a weak argument to begin with.
