The biggest challenge for the TSA folks is the wide variance of stuff they deal with and attempting to make decisions on the fly. I travel a lot and I think they generally do pretty good. At smaller airports, there doesn't seem to be enough work for them to stay busy, but that's another story.

Now don't get too upset ... when was the last time you met a TSA "worker" bright enough to know who a person was and that the person was a senator? Most of them only get 30 minutes for lunch so they will not have to be retrained.

I'm sure there is a lot of funny things that happen, but I don't have to travel by air and I won't as long as the Nazis are strip searching people. The airlines won't make a dime off of me.

Shouldn't blame the airlines ... they are victims of the feds as well.

Maybe not, but they are the ones that should be checking people, not the government. After all it's their airline. Or is it?

I agree ... but the govt. took the responsibility away from them. Blame the govt. and Bush for this one.

It is as if the U.S. Constitution does not even matter anymore.

When TSA thugs detained Senator Rand Paul, they directly violated the U.S. Constitution, and nobody in the mainstream media seems upset by this.

Fortunately, many in the alternative media have taken note of this constitutional violation. The following is from an article by Steve Watson....

The Constitution specifically protects federal lawmakers from being detained while en route to Washington DC.

    Article I, Section 6 states:

“The Senators and Representatives…shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same….”

Rand Paul was travelling from his home in Louisville to attend a session in the Senate today.
