If the only purpose of science is to cause Christians to doubt their faith, isn't it unconstitutional for the government to fund science?

Everything in the Bible has been refuted by science. The US government is the #1 funder of scientific research in the world. By spending public funds on science, the US government has set up a de facto official state religion. Isn't this a violation of the separation of church and state?

melly~thwarting Satan since... 2011/12/16 15:15:32No. We should say 'yes' to not funding science.

OMG why haven't I thought of this?! Amazing Disco! You have truly opened my eyes.
My Founding Fathers had Bibles in schools, national prayers, 10 Commandments on federal buildings, etc. That's the concept of freedom, everyone gets to express theirs. You don't get that when it's banned. Too bad we have corrupt politicians. Anyway, yeah, for many people science (and government) is their religion.
What I'm saying is that, if we were following the wishes of the Founding Fathers, all of this would be allowed in schools, if you're really interesting in investigating truth and knowing the real meaning of freedom. Btw, no, not everything.
As such, religion is the enemy of freedom, but not all of the founding fathers were evolved enough to see it.
your argument is invalid-
seems you specialize in these premises-
That is honestly the most frightening image I've ever seen.
More Damage to mankind has been done in the world in the name of religion, it is just pitiful.
I say "one person's Faith" is another person's doubt.
That's simply not a true statement.
Do you understand.. ANYTHING beyond the Bible? Or do you just go to creationists websites and lap up everything they tell you without question?
