There is no doubt or hesitation, I would vote to Re-Elect the President of the United States, Barak Obama. He has done an excellent job under extreme conditions during his first term and if the Republicans would be a little more cooperative a great deal could be accomplished during the next 4 years.

I truly get excite when I think about what we could accomplish as a nation with cooperation from both sides of the aisle with President Obama leading. So much innovation - so many jobs created. If they would work as hard at accomplishing what they were sent to Washinggon, DC to do as they do campaigning for 4-6 years, this country would be a much better place.

What a choice though...Obama and hope this term, he be able to get past the partisan roadblocks or Romney and hope for a quick death.
I'm not hopeful with either scenario.

President Obama has dug us out of a dangerous financial hole that the Republican

party, under Bush, put us in. Without his vision, I believe we would be back to the 1930's

Great Depression. Also, Obama has bravely eliminated Osama bin Laden, thereby

finishing Bush/Chaney's mission. President Obama has given the USA Affordable Health

Care, something that has been needed since President Roosevelt announced the desire

to implement it. And I like owning a reasonably affordable, American made, car and

President Obama was entirely responsible for saving the auto industry. P.S. Romney

was quoted saying, "let the auto industry fail." What other industry would Romney decide

to scrap as worthless in the future?

    hmmm, interesting ...

you state, obomma has dug us out of a hole ...

do you realize that we have made the hole 50 % deeper with obomma ?

200 years to get 10 trillion in national debt

3 years for obomma to get $ 5 TRILLION IN DEBT..

obomma spends my tax money like a drunk sailor on a Saturday night shore leave...

The prior administrations (dating all the way back to Reagan's trickle down economics which are now haunting us) created the hole. If you cannot understand that, then you ARE the drunken sailor.

    blame some one else,
and you go so far as the early 80's to find some one to blame,
you do not have to go far to find the person in charge right now, obomma, for the next 5 months , and then we go about the business of change , and less debt... I hope..

I will not answer a dishonest question, which gives me no "other" or "undecided" answer. Given that it is possible to vote for a third party, or to have not decided yet, and given the two-party totalitarian assumptions behind giving only those two answers, it is dishonest. I will personally vote for either Obamney or Rombama, given that they are essentially the same, except for rhetoric. Example: Romneycare is structurally identical to Obamacare. Each one should drop their running mates, and embrace each other as running mates, with the winner getting the presidency and the loser being veep. That's my summation of this election.

I believe President Bush started the automotive bailout. Have to give credit where it's due. I think his administration was terrible, but he did what he had to do when the collapse occurred. Unfortunately, imo, President Bush (I want all to notice that I will NOT be disrespectful to the Office of the Presidency or the one elected - even when I disagree) was not the "bad" guy in all of that. There were a lot of people around him who made party based decisions and it was not good. I really think that President Bush's heart is not as bad as many made/make him out to be. He just had Dick Cheney by his side...

not here in Texas, they seem to be a few generations behind. This is the first generation that is just now starting to think that perhaps racism might be wrong. Perhaps a few more generations and they'll start to think that maybe being a white american does not automatically make you superior to everyone else on the planet.

Err... excuse me, I forgot... "must be his policies", lol.

It isn't fair. I for one am tired of carrying the problems we are having on my back and believe that the whole system needs to be revamped. We could lighten the load for the middle class, and have those who could pay more and don't, do it.

"To whom much is given, much is required... and to whom has much, of him they will ask the more..." You have no idea who the free loaders are and are not. If you had seen me at the grocery store 25 years ago with my food stamps, you probably would have thought "Look at that b*tch. She could work... She shouldn't be buying freeze pops for her brats..." When, in fact, I had a very disabled husband and a very premature baby - neither of which were planned. My "brats" had freeze pops because it was the ONLY treat they got on a hot summer day. Otherwise, they drank water. They drank a lot of that. Thankfully, the government was in place to help us. We have now more than financially paid back what we used - and have done so gratefully. We will continue to do so, gratefully. My husband makes six figures but his net is sub $60K. I will never complain. We have good medical insurance - but still owe about $100K due to my strokes. We have a roof over our heads, food on our table, and we love each other. The 47% that pay nothing HAVE nothing. There are no jobs out there... The next time you see a person with a sign saying they will work for $ - find something they can do and pay them by giving them a big bag of groceries. You don't know the life circumstances that have caused anyone to need assistance.

I know where you come from.. I also did my time on food stamps and the rest. My very premature son was born with a heart condition that needed surgery when he was 6 days old.. I was 19 yeas old and it was a totally unexpected pregnancy since I'd been told I couldn't have any children. My boyfriend was totally useless as he hadn't wanted children due to his own upbringing so he was not willing to be a parent.. he just wanted to drink and hang out with his friends, not be a dad. We split up when my son was 2 and a half when I gave up on him ever being a grownup. My son had milk allergies, not a lactose intolerance.. an allergy. So he was very ill for his first 5 years until they finally did an allergy test on him and found it. I had months where I lived on instant potato flakes made with water while my son had food and clothes and I did my best. I tried to find him daycare but he had ADHD problems and with his heart condition, no caretaker wanted to deal with him.

It's so easy for people to call names and point and say things about people living lives that they could never understand.

I am living a better life now than that one all those years ago. I'm married and still an at home mom. I have a daughter now and she has my ADD and Dyslexia but not her half brother's heart condit...

Things are better. still not great as we still have my son's surgeries to deal with.. he's 23 now and on our insurance thanks to Obamacare. his work schedule is VERY limited thanks to the ongoing heart issues but things are still better than they were even just a few years ago.

I hope things keep getting better for you and your family. Know that there are others out here that have some of the same stories and that you are not alone by a long shot.

Absolutely. Thank you, dear. Our children are now both grown. One will earn her PhD next spring and our younger has high functioning autism, Tourette's Syndrome and other health issues. She was never expected to attend college - never mind do well, and she has a 3.75 cumulative gpa. Not too shabby. Both of our daughters have ADD (our older is the worst but no one would ever know now because she has worked so hard to manage herself... and has done well).

I would think that those who complain about those who NEED help SHOULD be concerned about people such as the ones who own very expensive homes on the Outer Banks in North Carolina and when their homes get hit by hurricanes, they rush to the government for low interest loans to REBUILD in a hurricane area. They should be concerned about the wealthy who think that because they paid into social security that it is owed to them - and they take that money even though they do not need it and never paid even close to what they receive. Welfare for the wealthy is fine, I guess.

Romney had to revise his Utah tax returns to run in Massachusetts....he has proven he'll lie about his taxes to people when he has run before....So prove it. Even his Dad said it was important. I think we'd like to see if his percentages are below 10%...just look at his 77,000 deduction for the damn dressage horse. This would prove the rich pay near nothing legally...and we need to do something about that.

Nice try framing the argument over trust of government though.

hmm,, Mr. Romney paid aprox, $ 2,500,000 , yes, 2 1/2 MILLION in income tax.

this is such a non issue, such a distraction , I feel the only people that are attempting to make this an issue are those that have been miss lead by the liberals attempting to distract the voters away from obomma's dismal administration , or those that just are clue less.

wow, 2 1/2 MILLION $$$$ in income tax ,, IN ONE YEAR , HE PAID,

and yet silence about 47 % that pay NOTHING, NADA, ZIP , ZERO ..

sorta looks kinda foolish this Romney show 10 years of his personal papers ( papers that the gov't has in their possession ,, ) when the country is at the verge of bankrupcy , folks are losing their homes due to the high unemployment , the economy is in shambles,

AND YET THERE ARE THOSE THAT WANT TO TAKE A PEEK AT SOMEONES 10 YEAR OLD TAX RETURN..

talk about priorities, talk about step over a dollar to pick up a penny ..

this is not going to change the obomma administration failure ...

and ,, you did not answere a simple , yes /no question,

$2.5M of what income, though? He had/has a LOT of money. A LOT. The 47% have what kind of income? What kind of taxes are they supposed to pay on nothing - or nigh to nothing?

What monies did Romney hide off shore so he did not "have" to pay more income taxes? If you think that $2.5M in taxes hurt him, whatsoever, you really are a nut job.

If one is going to lead the United States of America - one goes through a vetting process that nigh to none of us will ever endure. Part of that with the public is sharing one's tax information. It's been that way for years - and as it should be.
