This is a rhetorical question, many through out our world history have been martyred for the Lord Jesus Christ. During the dark ages it is estimated that about 70 million christians where martyred. It is always a possibility that some in this current day will face martyrdom, in fact there are people that are dying today because of their faith in the Lord Jesus.

YES! I would offer it gladly, rather than to lose the true Life & Salvation I have been graced with through Jesus Christ. I live for Him now! I would die for Him as well!

RET! I see that you & your stalking/hating ways has expanded. It only makes me think that you have had a nerve struck by this question. I am sorry that you must look at this world thru "victim eyes"! anybody who says yes is totally lying. people in this country feel secure in saying they wouldnt deny christ and would die for him . . only because they are surround by the security of other christians in a country where they have no threat or anything to worry about. if the time DID come that christians were threatened in this way. im POSITIVE very few would go through with the execution.

I would die for Jesus Christ only if I KNEW FOR A FACT THAT I WAS DOING IT WITH A SINCERE HEART, AND THAT THE PEOPLE/PERSON CUTTING MY HEAD OFF WAS DOING IT WITH A SINCERE HEART - that they weren't doing it for some other reason. I don't want to die for "Christ," and then find out that my heart wasn't in the right place, or/in addition to, that the people/person killing me was doing it out of ignorance, and really didn't know that he was murdering followers of the SON OF GOD. I wouldn't want to have my head cut off, and then find out that the person cut it off because I belonged to a certain religion - say they thought I was a Jehovah's Witness or Messianic Jew, instead of believing that I belonged to a a certain and single SAVIOR - JESUS CHRIST - WITH NO STRINGS (necklaces/idols) ATTACHED.

It will come. It's just a matter of time. This is an occasional dream that haunts me.

More difficult than that would be watching them kill my family and friends.

Though no one knows at that moment how they would react until the confrontation, I have faced that at least once and done so. The Donatist heresy said, once you stumble you can never return. They believed in complete sanctification and no second chances after denial of Christ.

I believe I would. Even doing that would not be enough to compare to what Jesus did for me on that day at calvary. I just want to be counted one of his. I cannot begin to imagine living forever with Christ and his angels but I sure don't want to miss it.....A very small price to pay indeed.

Do I live for him now? When someone speaks His Name am I embarrassed,or ashamed? Does anyone know that I`m Christians? How often have I told anyone about him? These are just a few questions that came to mind. I wish I could have given myself a better score.

like, i totally respect people with other religions. like one of my best friends is a total Christian. she tried to convert me! Even though she idi that, we are still friends. Like when i go over to her house and i eat dinner there, i pray with them, and respect them.

Thanks Danny, I try with all my heart to be respectful to others. I have Atheist friends some who are on sodaheads, I know when it comes to matters of faith it takes some one high than I to change a persons belief.

I do appreciate your respectfulness, I just did a people ment to be toward Christians, the body statement and the question itself is dirrected toward Christians. There came a long a couple of people to show they respect no one, loaded this poll with their hateful remarks.

Thanks! And Great. A lot of my friends are religious, and some times it bothers them when i say the lords name in vain, so I try my best not to, but some times it just slips out. So not only do I try to respect their beliefs, but i tend to ask them questions about their religion to understand it further so I will not hurt their feelings. Just to tell you, it has taken me many, like 4 or 5 years to learn what to do and what not to. You know that friend i told you about? The one who tried to convert me, well some things we can't do with out disagreeing includes: talking about politics, religion, and news we saw on television if it has anything to do to J. Christ, or Prop 8. Hope I gave you good advice! Oh, and sorry for writing so long.
