Mitt Romney's campaign is in trouble. With the growing revelations of Romney's involvement in Bain Capital's "pioneering efforts" in outsourcing American jobs, the significant discrepancies between Romney's story and the numerous SEC filings that contradict that story, his adamant insistence on secrecy about his own tax returns, his Cayman Islands and Swiss bank accounts that exist only to evade paying taxes to the very government he seeks to lead, and the glaring disconnect with the average working American that Romney exhibits at every campaign stop, some have already begun to wonder whether Romney will make it to the Republican convention. If in fact the heat gets to be too much for Mitt, who do you think the Republicans will choose in his place? Who will be the sacrificial lamb?

Since we know that Obama and his crew have lied about Bain - why the hell would he step down? The rank gutter politics of Obama is sickening - he should step down.

Using their logic, Obama should have stepped down a long time ago.

Considering Dr. Paul has not officially dropped out yet, and since he's going all the way to Tampa, plus his huge support base, he's the obvious choice-- but then again, he's the obvious choice ALREADY. Has common sense escaped the Republican Leader's party? (Rhetorical question).

Where's Chris Christie as a white knight - I'd like to see a Christie/Jeb Bush ticket just to make the Tea Party Repubs heads' collectively explode... Unfortunately that ticket MIGHT actually win.

Who knows there may be nothing there but Romney's never shown himself a man of principal and now won't show his taxes ...as a matter of principal??? I'm starting to think there actually might be something there. It's a reasonable request of any candidate but one as wealthy as Mitt - more than reasonable to see where his income cam from, how charitable he's been and what taxes he's paid.

Wouldn't you be interested in knowing if BHO had a full ride scholarship as a foreign student? Or what classes he took besides smoking crack?
There is too much hidden by BHO by his executive order on the first day he became potus.

Conspiracy whacko talk---these allegations have been made 100 times before and refuted 100 times before and all that the typical conspiracy whacko can say is 'this document is false' or 'that document is not certified' or 'blah, blah, blah, ad nauseum... It's not even worth refuting any more because in the eyes of RWNJs NO EVIDENCE is complete enough to defend and no evidence is too marginal to indict... If you don't like the man's policies and don't think they are right for America, great - make a case built on logic and facts. Innuendo and paranoia over where BO was allegedly born, what he did in college, etc... is so four years ago.

Yea - I actually don't care to much about the Bain Capital thing (or at least the outsourcing part). I am more concerned at the cover-up, denial and obfuscation. I would rather he had said 'My job was to make profit for investors and if it involved outsourcing that's what we did. I did my job well.' I'm not very impressed with 'I wasn't involved, but my name was on SEC and other paperwork and I also told Massachusetts that I WAS involved so I could run for Governor'. That just doesn't wash... But I still think TAX returns are a very reasonable request. And I've just got to believe if he's holding back there may be something in there, because Mitt has never been the kind of guy to stand up very long to principal against expediency. Could be just that he paid very little taxes simply using legal tools which will be embarrassing but lets get through it and move on.

What scandal. There is no Bain scandal.

Just manufactured rhetoric from the Obama camp and the liberals.

Pretty sad when Obama has to resort to making up false claims given that he can’t find any true negativity surrounding Romney.

Oh, I forgot. He cut some kids hair and let his dog ride atop the family car while traveling on a vacation.

Even sadder still that Obama can’t run on one single accomplishment during his last three and half years in office.

The real scandal is probably in the tax retursns...he needs to get that info out there because you can't help but wonder why he's not sharing as long as he doesn't... Romney could have won points with me with an honest approach to BAIN - 'My job was to maximize my investor's profits and I did my job well and if that involved outsourcing, and that was my fiduciary responsibility in that position.' I still wouldn't vote for him but I'd respect that approach a lot more than his current bobbing and weaving.

So you’re saying Romney should be held to a higher standard that Obama?

If you recall, Obama sealed all his records regarding his past upon receiving the nomination.

But more importantly, you’re supporting Obama? (“I still wouldn't vote for him…”)

    Just curious.

There is no scandal, only Liberal implemented costly regulations and high taxes that are driving businesses to outsource and worse leave the US for countries with a pro-business economy.

Liberals worked hard to create an anti-business climate, now we are all suffering the consequences.

The Left Wing Media wishes that Romney would go away. The last Gallup Poll showed it was a died heat between Romney and Obama (47%), yet the left wing media forgot one point. Those whom were polled were 9% more Democrats than Republicans. That literally means that 100% of the Republicans would vote Romney with an additional 4.5% Democrats. Get it, only 95.5% of the polled Democrats would vote Obama, he can't win if he does not have the support of his own party.
